We talk about gods of state cup like Freebairn and Pauga but at the same time hype up a 21 year old like Jordan Hill who is yet to play at state cup level.

He might well make a career out of rugby league, but at the moment he's way overhyped.

Perhaps Sheens and our recruitment staff see a lot in him just like Tupou - athletic ability height, size, pace and finishing. He seems a Sheens' recruit. He is ex Holy Cross Ryde and WTs U20s so he is a known talent. He may not be the finished product just like Xavier Savage was well known for his pace in athletics.

There's no way on earth the club should or will re-sign all three of Hastings, Brooks and Doueihi.
All of them are very average in numerous parts of the game. You put all 3 together and you still don't even have the equivalent output of one good halfback, like DCE for example. We can't jus settle that none of our halves are very good but we can't do better. We need to try find a solution, one player who can organise, kick, pass and tackle. More than half the teams in the comp have at least one of these types of players - why shouldn't we?

Hope he's better than Tristan Reilly. Sheens saw something in him that I don't think anyone else has seen yet. He's also fast. Just like Edene Gebbie was when people were comparing him to Olam.

With Maumalo made of whatever Matai was made of... giving these guys a taste and developing them well, will be great for us and them.

Our depth has been pretty poor for years now.

The summary isn't far from wrong.

He doesn't even have size or speed....
I'm hoping something snaps and he has some sort of revelation, Because he's a long way behind the likes of Kepoa and To'a....

And they're a long, long way behind the better players in those positions in the comp.
Top 30 for 2 years on Reilly is really, really stupid at this point....
Train and Trial I can swallow - Not a top spot.

Talented junior, returning to his junior club.
In a position we don't have much depth in.

21 and ready to make an impact.
Rather him, some one that wants to be here than some weak blow ins.
