On 360 Benny was expressing how disappointed he was about WT performance in the final round. Said he sent an email to Simon Cook "the CEO" ..
Was he having a senior's moment? Packed into too many loose arm scrums?

I wouldn’t make him ceo of taking our wheelie bins out. They’d be gone in the morning, except for our trash all over the samoans yard next door which will take some explaining, despite their neighbourly kindness.

No structure or accountability in this club.

Who has been responsible for the shit recruitment and roster for the last 5 years?

Cleary, Madge, Hartigan, Egan, Sheens, Pascoe, McDonnell, the board, a retarded monkey.

They all get to pass the buck and point the finger.

Turn a position over every couple of years and the current state is that person’s fault

They also didn’t have success with Danny Buderus as GM of football. He would get the “good bloke” award though.

No finer person in Gods game and a remarkable footballer.

Those of us who followed him carefully, we came to a quiet and inner understanding, that during his era, he was one of the best players in the comp and worth the price of admission to watch him ply his trade. Unbelievable player.

Needless to say, I am an admirer.

Any kids on forum, get on line, watch his games at his peak and be prepared to be utterly astounded.

Off the park, humble, honest and gracious. Not a bad bone in his body.

Buderis went out with a Ms Universe finalist contestant in his younger days, before she became famous.

And when asked about it by media and all that, he kept the private business private and commented words to the effect of “ I don’t know how she ended up with me?!”

One would be hard pressed finding a reserve grader with this composed and humble attitude these days.

It would be a honour to meet him one day.

Is there anyone who thinks Manly’s dramatic slump in form is not related in anyway with anything their board has said or done?
Why is it that the WT board have absolutely no influence over on field results? Why do they behave as a seperate entity?
