Yes, good point tonza, he wasn’t recognised as a good player until he went to chooks. At WT, he was an opportunist with a high work rate and high skill level.He is probably playing better for them because he generally does not play the whole game, therefore when he does play, he is playing at his peak. A lot of the so-called knowledgeable commentators dont even realise Tedesco first represented NSW when he was a tiger. They feel he did not become a good player until he went to the Roosters. He had already played 4 State of Origins games. Obviously, he improved with the quality around him at the Rorters.
At roosters he became an organiser, leader, game analyst. The natural progression of maturity and experience.
I honestly can’t recall a player we have developed to near their full potential? Woods, maybe?
