to be fair we have 3 hookers who he'd be competing with, whereas at the dogs he pretty much just has JMS. But given the way they turfed him out last time i'm not so sure he'd be so keen on a reunion.

My rationale was that I’m sure they discussed certain players and maybe Sheens indicated we weren’t going to try and keep him.

I personally don't think we need him. We have Api, Simpkin and Rua as hookers.
He was valuable to us this year when all we had was Liddle and Simpkin, but next year I'd like us to use a top 30 spot for a prop or a second rower assuming Staines is coming.
