Even my Penrith Mates don't really rate Staines. He isn't the answer,

Daine L, will be like Papenhuyzen with a decent pack.

I disagree Stains is taller and much quicker and has a bit more ball playing to his game than he has shown when playing on the wing.
Laurie is a really solid defender for his size and is a real competitior, haven’t seen his kicking game other than a couple of dinks in goal but he does place them better then our other 3 halve options.

Brooks isn’t a 7 no 7 could fail like Brooks has.

Moses has won as many wooden spoons in the last 5 years as Brooks has - And he plays in a rep team.

He’s probably closer to a 6 but even that’s rare with him. If we land Moses, Pezet or Walker we get rid of Brooks

if we can’t have to consider other options. If Brooks stays on after next year doesn’t matter who we sign Brooks won’t lead us to anything. If he can’t do it after 9 years why would next year be any different?

Same as if you put Moses, Reynolds or DCE in a bottom 4 team.

You want to keep supporting a player that’s a failure that’s your choice however I’m over it. I’m willing to try something new and if it doesn’t work out so be it but we all know what the result will be with Brooks. No other team would’ve kept him this long.

Nah he ain’t that’s just something the Brooks lovers say to try and say he’s worth keeping. There is nothing worth persisting with Brooks apart from failure. Us fans have every right to question why he sticks around when we’ve changed everything except him yet we’ve still failed.

you still receive a long service discount with Brooks so that restructured 2024 contract of $700k is really $500k
At 500k on the cap Sheens keeps him be that 7 or 6 with the difference he can offer Hastings the 200k extra to play 13

That is not how the allowance works, we get that allowance with or without Brooks as other players qualify.
