Not too worried about Hastings and AD. It is important we extended brooks tho.

don't think Brooks will be at the knights think klemmer will get his release for 2023 from Newcastle and will leave then without a 7Hopefully at the Knights.
Then next week Gus signs Laurie. The Wests Tigers thought they were facing a fight to keep Daine Laurie at the club after they were told that the Bulldogs were interested in the fullback.
It turns out they were being spun a line. After Confidential reported on the Bulldogs’ purported interest in Laurie, Canterbury head of football Phil Gould took to social media to slam the claims.
Gould sent this column a text saying Laurie had never been discussed and links to the Tigers No.1 were rubbish. He even suggested we owed the Tigers and Bulldogs an apology.
So here goes. Sorry guys. Won’t make that mistake again. Anyway, Gould’s proclamation is good news for the Tigers, who have tabled a one-year extension to Laurie in the hope of extending his stay at the club.
Laurie and his manager want a longer-term deal but they won’t be able to use the Bulldogs as leverage even though Gould admitted he loved Laurie. (DT)
Leichhardt WanderersENFIELD FEDERALS here
All (*) will be revealed soon.So what was the surprise signing cloudyglock said he'll leave it to the pom
Twitter AKA "The Good Oil."
Wasn’t that PVLs junior club ?ENFIELD FEDERALS here
Of course for those who don’t know he ended being a Kangaroo until a bad illness finished him. Was a centre in the Chris Lawrence mould.Wasn’t that PVLs junior club ?
I spent a little time at the Balmain Coppers, boxing and footy.
Kept getting knocked down so gave up boxing and thought I would do alright at footy till I marked a bloke one day called Geoff Starling.
I was making huge hits…at fresh air. Moved from the centres after that!
Good old Blackmore boy.Leichhardt Wanderers
Gee if we are rid of Brooks and only have to pay 200k, that's a pretty good outcome. We didn't win a game this year with Brooks at 7.
Play Hastings at 7 where we won 2 of the 3 games, sign Klemmer and see who we can get for 2024 (possibly get them a year early with Brooks' money).
David Klemmer has an offer on the table from the club worth $2.1m over 3 years, the club willing to pick-up the full tab of his $800K deal for 2023 with the remaining 2 years being $650K.
Knights have asked for Brooks in return but want the club to pick-up the $200k difference, Sheens is keen to coach Brooks & don't see this side of things eventuating.
The Staines/Peachey swap is currently at an impasse, Staines want's longer deal than offered, currently our offer is only for the 2023 season, we may go in for 2024 but not the 3 years he's after.
To address the Nanai talk, from a personal belief I see him staying at the Cowboys, but it is true that come November 1 the club will be having a red hot crack at him, this comes after Liam's Martin management informed the club that his options were either Panthers (which he'll most likely stay) or Parramatta.
Musgrove does have significant interest from the Dragons but he's told the club twice now that he doesn't want to leave & earn his place in the 17.
The hope of getting Spencer Leniu seems all but hope Jakes Simpkin has been discussed as a potential swap but he's also be discussed with Eels also for a Swap with Nathan Brown, we aren't the only club looking at Spencer & his management has been speaking to multiple clubs, Storm are well & truly in the mix here.
John Bateman talks have increased recently after Wigan became more reasonable about a potential transfer fee. Don't be surprised if start being linked to St Helens backrower Joe Batchelor, he's signed for 2023 but recently employed a Australian agent & is keen to give the NRL a crack (Sheens knows this) also young Wigan Forward Morgan Smithies has been discussed.
Expecting some noise around Hastings to be come louder publicly soon as it appears unlikely a deal won't be done prior to November 1.
He's had a number of offers and in all of them gets to play lead.I'm cautiously optimistic about Jason Bateman
Thanks for the update @THE_POM . Do you know what the latest is with Tommy Talau, Nu Brown, Henry O'Kane & who may be on our T&T list?David Klemmer has an offer on the table from the club worth $2.1m over 3 years, the club willing to pick-up the full tab of his $800K deal for 2023 with the remaining 2 years being $650K.

V/good player. We didn't have much luck with centres - Dennis Bendall was another.Of course for those who don’t know he ended being a Kangaroo until a bad illness finished him. Was a centre in the Chris Lawrence mould.
Tommy Talau will be in the top 30.Thanks for the update @THE_POM . Do you know what the latest is with Tommy Talau, Nu Brown, Henry O'Kane & who may be on our T&T list?
Thanks @THE_POMTommy Talau will be in the top 30.
Nu Brown was offered a fair 2 year deal to stay but wanted more, Club will not budge on the offer & expect him to leave.
Henry O'Kane was sitting on the fence last I heard, offer still on the table, believe he will stay.
As mentioned previously Albert Kelly has been spoken to about training with the club in the offseason, only other confirmed T&T at the moment is Brandon Mansfield.
