Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I don't know his contract figure because it is not publicly available or if it is backdated which would distort the figure. Context is important so throwing around figures to justify your view is pointless.
I don’t claim to know it either but The Pom said we had offered to pay $800k to Klem and they wanted a swap with Brooks with us to kick in the $200k difference. Do the maths… he’s on a $million.

Tommy Talau will be in the top 30.
Nu Brown was offered a fair 2 year deal to stay but wanted more, Club will not budge on the offer & expect him to leave.
Henry O'Kane was sitting on the fence last I heard, offer still on the table, believe he will stay.
As mentioned previously Albert Kelly has been spoken to about training with the club in the offseason, only other confirmed T&T at the moment is Brandon Mansfield.

Wondering how we have deals out for Nu and Klemmer atm?
If they both accept - We're at 31 players for 2023.

Why
I agree 100% with this. The worst case scenario is we sign some duds on overs for longer periods and then juniors come through and we can't adjust.
Every other club seems to have no problems moving on players on contract if there is someone better. WT should just do the same- yes I know payouts are part of the equation.

Cant argue I was hoping for miracles .I was the one who pointed out the neverending 4th and 5th tackles wasted . Looking at the 27 man roster as it stands today I can't come up with 17 experienced quality 1st graders and that was having twal at 17th . This roster won't win many games

29 top squad positions confirmed according to the CEO an coach in their chat, so only 1 spot left.

To a degree yes, I can't see Hastings signing with anyone till he see's what is instore for him game plan wise in pre-season
Do you know what the reception is like out there with players re Sheens and Benji coaching?
Do we look appealing or only if money is good as IMO we seem to have turned a corner and heading in the right direction

Pom’s lastest updates certainly has not got me jumping for joy. Okay it would appear we have a lot of pokers in the fire, but most of them seem to be in the maybe basket.

I get the feeling 2023 will be only marginally better than this year. Of course things can change in a split second

Thanks @THE_POM
Do you think we will actually get Klemmer or do you think we will have to let brooks go to make it happen?
All I want is Hastings resigned as main focus.
I suppose in the end much of this is determined by what Brooks wants to do. Id say that Sheens and co want Brooks at 7, meaning Hastings is forced to lock and i really dont see much 'love' being sent his way compared to comments made by Sheens regarding Brooks. I think Doueihi is the one that has to shift to accommodate as I think centre / fullback is the much more preferable positions for him next season rather than 6. I'd be tempted to shift Laurie to 6., at least in the trials to see how that goes.

Appreciate that @THE_POM and hopefully Liam Scolari lands in out T&T list as well.
