This could easily happen but they won't give a stuff. Earning big dollars doing something they love. They are old and tough enough to handle it.

You style a game plan around his strengths and you get a really solid half, strong, long kicking game has a running game. Started on fire at Newcastle then capitulated. Might be something with his head space that needs sorting out. Not sure we are the best club for him somehow.

Agree totally. These 2 kids still have a lot to prove after Covid and injury. Unless they do something amazing over the off-season and/or in the trials, they have to earn their spot. They need time in KOE to not only learn but see if they’ve got it.

As with Brooks everyone is certain that he is determined to stay (for LESS money) because (he LOVES the club).
Well what if I put it too you that Simpkin doesn’t really love the WT, he loved the opportunity. And now that opportunity is fading, behind a recently recruited star hooker for the next 3 seasons. And his heals are being nipped at by 3 other up and coming hookers.

Why wouldn’t he look to go to a club that isn’t soo deep in the hooker ranks.

Given our track record regarding players that were recruited during Madge’s tenure, why wouldn’t we release him?

Gee ! What an exciting trio. They will strike fear in opposing sides, with their speed, attacking guile, and devastating defence. lol.
