Junior Tupou #254

I don't get what everyone sees in AJ. The bloke has hands like feet, and you want him at fullback? FMD

I think its more when he does hold the ball his offering isn't bad at all, he has size, speed, footwork and some ball skills. He also has experience at the back through juniors. To be fair he did have surgery on his eyes about 12mths back or so which he said impacted his vision when his head moved upwards. Lets see how he goes over the rest of the season & hope he stays injury free.

Fair play. I hope he stays injury free and dominates. I'd love for him to be a gun

Hopefully he had that new eye surgery that makes you re-claim the ball with urgency after you drop it (Which he does often) Instead of jogging off in the wrong direction while the opposition swoops on the loose ball and runs off toward their try line

A intrsting piece in the puzzle for next season

Where the hell does he play tho

I don't think he is good enough for fullback.

maybe he plays centre or wing?

Probably reserve grade till he gets abit older. I think fullback will be his position

He is a...reserve grader at best

I didn't wanna say that, But I also have reservations....
I think he could make a real fist of it on the wing...

But would need a killer centre that can make all the decisions for him...

Next year is crucial for him.

He's certainly got the ability to make a good first grader. However, I saw some things this year in NSW Cup that made me question his work ethic and his desperation to put his body on the line. If he sorts those things out he'll make it.

Well he is ahead of Junior Pauga ...but I'm not sure if that is a wrap on him or not

Train and trial for 23 ...not if any club will be rushing out to steal him off us
