Two 5/8s and the 7 wearing 13 is something we've already seen take place though.

AD being the Rob Lui, 6 wearing 7
DL being the Benji, a 6 in the 6 and the mastermind in the 13.

All Brooks has Said is he is signing for Newcastle 2024
He came out last year and said he didn't ask for a release
At present he signs in 2024 he goes in 2024
Much like Rheed Mahoney and Papali both left Parramatta

Because you don't go into a new season where you desperately want to improve on the previous result with a player like Brooks in an integral position when clearly he doesn't want to be here.

Is that so hard to understand?

He sounds like he would be a left field signing though.
And is he ready for NRL or need a little more time ! Only U19 ?

so we strengthen Newcastle for no benefit. Don't know if Brooks would tank like Moses hence I think he stays 2023

No problem with that, except for my fear of tanking. Don’t think he’s the strongest emotional tool in the shed.

It only takes one bad apple...

You're taking it all as a negative.

It's going to strengthen Newcastle.
Now that's a whole other conversation in its self, now that's an average team with problems running quite deep & adding a career failure like Brooks to their roster is going to be such a benefit to them 😂😂😂 anyway, we'll just leave that alone for now....

But ridding ourselves of Brooks and his contract opens up many doors for us, both financially and roster space wise.

If anything, it's more of a benefit to us - to allow us to strengthen positions we need to invest in, such as our forward pack or our centre stocks.

Well let’s not forget he did go straight into the NRL with Jacko, but couldn’t make a break, set up a winger or tackle.
I think we probably did him a favour.
No sure how influential he is in the Uk but there’s always some sour grapes.
If any players over there are interested their manager should be checking out our big and small picture, to earn their dough.
I think most players know we are in a rebuilding phase so some will like the challenge, and some not.
