They change the salary to make the story interesting. But they are correct though that Brooks is 100% our highest paid player at the club. If he’s not on a million he’s certainly close to it.

Don’t think Knights are considering him based on how much they have openly admitted they want Brooks. He won’t go to Newcastle that I’m certain of.

Stains is 1.84 cm tall and 87 kg, he is not small. He will do well at fullback or anywhere in the backline. Ramsey if off contract in 2024, is an exciting talent at fullback and also a speedster. Having a top class FB is a must, as is a class replacement. They both offer what the Tigers have lacked for years, a skillfull and fast backline. Throw in another tough forward and a decent half and we are on the way up!

He only went to the UK because he was basically exiled from the NRL. If another club was willing to come to the table, he wouldn’t have left. Now that he’s back he’s set up in Sydney and seems to want to stay if he was willing to buy a house. He won’t go Knights mate. Dogs maybe but not Knights.

agree he may well ask but Sheens won't strengthen another side by giving Newcastle a 7 in 2023 if he does not have what he thinks is a suitable replacement. If Sheens doesn't see Hastings as the 7 then he won't release Brooks in 2023 so Hastings can play 7 then sign Moses or someone in 2024 to play 7 and shift Hastings back to 13.
He will keep Brooks in 2023 and tell Newcastle to get stuffed you can have Brooks in 2024

I doubt Moses is willing to come back. I’d take him but I doubt it’ll happen. Brooks is very very unlikely to stay mate I know you want him too but if he’s been spotted looking at places to buy in Newcastle, pretty safe to say he may be out the door. I highly doubt Brooks is with us for much longer.

For the 100th time, Yes I think he is leaving in 2024 to Newcastle

Madden wouldn’t have been paid that much. If he was a regular starter maybe but not that much. If Brooks was getting paid 650-700K that club is not getting their moneys worth.
