"I can’t wait to get back to full fitness, and doing what I love doing, and that’s playing footy"

Tommy Talau

What's full fitness going to look like with this guy?
Are we going to see a stronger lad capable of playing in the forwards or are we going to see a leaner faster lad.
I think the latter will be a hard task coming back from that terrible knee injury.
The upside is he's got a full preseason and trials to work on fitness.
I wonder if he has ever played in the forwards during development years?
Does anyone know?

Talau was a decent center before he got injured .We missed him this year
I would hope our rehab and physio staff are professional enough to have him firing for 2023 . Its been 14 months already since he last played

He'd be fine already for hitups in the back row. However, we really need dominant tacklers out there and physically I'd say he'd only be a below average tackler.

Anyway, back row is where he needs to be because he's not fast and not a game breaker so back row suits him. I'm guessing he'll be more valuable there in a few years rather than this season. A bit like Reuben wiki developed over time.

So your saying that he's staying as a centre?
In my opinion he was slow before his injury, or maybe he just looked like it 🤔 If our backs consisted of TT, Jacko and AD it will be
wheelchair footy.
