Russian invasion of Ukraine

Just adding to my above comment (apologies for the tangential comments)

All these events precipitated officially in the name of “European values” and in order to “join Europe,” and with the full support of the West, particularly the Obama administration. Two years later, the Ukrainian civil war has took nearly 10,000 lives, created perhaps 2 million refugees, empowered armed quasi-fascist forces that left the country in near economic and social ruin.
There was no 'civil war'. The 2014 conflict was an unofficial invasion by Russia. The 'separatist' groups were created, led, and armed by Russia. Russia started a little invasion in 2014, and when Ukraine defended itself, Russia used that as a pretext for a bigger invasion in 2022.

Gas prices up, world wide inflation, house hikes. Debilitating taxes everywhere. Billions are sent
To his corrupt government.
Russia told them to [This word has been automatically removed] off
And not encroach from the
East I hope they take it all

Slavic. Russian
They speak it in the Donbass region and Crimea Don't get Smart.
So? Large chunks of Ukraine and Romania speak Hungarian. Should Victor invade?

Those poor citizens in Donbas in Eastern Ukraine who have been torn by war thanks by the Ukrainians for years and years and most of whom are speak Russian and want to join Russia.

Ever since the US interfered with 2014 elections.

About time Putin stood up to Biden; his son Hunter and all the USA dealings on Russias door step.

I mean Enough is enough

Any doubts about the USA’s / Obama administration’s real intentions in Ukraine should have been dispelled by the above taped conversation between a top State Department official, Victoria Nuland, and the US ambassador in Kiev. The media predictably focused on the source of the “leak” and on Nuland’s verbal “gaffe”—“[This word has been automatically removed] the EU.” But the essential revelation was that high-level US officials were plotting to “midwife” a new, anti-Russian Ukrainian government by ousting or neutralizing Yanukovych, the democratically elected president—that is, a coup.

If I did that at my Department here in Canberra I’d get the sack.

Europe will freeze this winter meanwhile Russia may warm themselves with the faint heat from their future markets burning in the distance.
