Why would we want that?

I’m sure the tigers management didn’t hear that comment so we’ll probably take him.

I stand by Frizzell would be the 2nd best back rower at the club

I'd take Angus Crichton or David Fifita ahead of him but he'd still easily be the 2nd best backrower at the club.

We should be going after Fifita. He is a game changer and we'd have weapons on both edges.

Brooks for both Klemmer and Frizell seems a good swap to me.

Run with Hastings/Doeuihi for 2023 while we try and get Moses/Brown for 2024.

Hastings and Douehi may be day to day injury propositions for 2023..

They are all potentially really good options for the next couple of seasons and they might turn into great players but they are all also at this stage completely unproven and none of them may be any good.

I don't think Peachy or Tamou were that bad signings either. Peachy was hopeless but he didn't cost too much and we've moved him on. Tamou was okay.

Reynolds was a terrible signing.

As I understand it, it was supposed to be announced yesterday but they postponed it because of the windy weather and the issues at Taronga - likely Friday announcement now.

Average at best, and on money that suits a higher class of player. Not a FB, not a 5or 6 and lucky to make centres. Many like him, as they compare him to others in the side, but most players in the side are not 1st gde standard. We must aim higher to finish higher, it's as simple as that.

Papa played left all last year - Won back rower of the year
Bit quieter on the right this year, Might be better on the left.

You're right - It's a no brainer.

If Papa goes back to the Left it makes the decision on Frizell or some of the other quality backrowers on the market easier. In saying that if Papa wants to play right then I can't see us shifting him.

If we go hard for Nanai or someone like that for 24 then would make sense not to get in on Frizell, but you're right Frizell would make us instantly better in a position we are shot for atm. We actually struggle to name a supporting backrower for Papa let alone bench rotation.

Nannai or David fafita would both be better buys than a 31 year old injured Frizell

They're 3 pretty useful forwards, all better than average who will make a significant difference.
