Think a change will do him good. Like Brooks heading there, Frizell leaving them will help him and might bring out his best again.I was a fan, but he is only a shadow of the agressive player he used to be.

Andrew John’s said whilst commenting a Newcastle game this year on channel 9 - “Frizelle is so tough he plays with a needle before every game and can’t train during the week”
Why would we want that?
I’m sure the tigers management didn’t hear that comment so we’ll probably take him.
Best we don't sign them then. Seeya BrooksHe will raise the profile of our pack just the same. If we can get Frizell and Klemmer Brooks may want to stay.
Good post. Time catches up with players, even the good ones like Frizell. He is a former Corrimal Cougar and not a Cronulla junior as many believed.Andrew John’s said whilst commenting a Newcastle game this year on channel 9 - “Frizelle is so tough he plays with a needle before every game and can’t train during the week”

They mentioned late November ..early December .....not sure if I mentioned that I had heard someone mention we will miss out Magic Round ....Does anyone know when the draw for next season comes out
Perhaps but no more retirement packages for players at the ends of their careers.
He was mate but imo he's not at that level now and that is why the Knights want him gone. They've paid too much for him and as Sleeve wrote we should have learnt our own lesson from prior experience. We have one first grade edge backrower and we have Kautoga, Blore and Tumeth as potential edge backrowers.
I don't want to give out a retirement package either but Frizzel is a quality edge backrower.
I'd prefer to give him a one year contract.
I was a fan, but he is only a shadow of the agressive player he used to be.
That’s how we got into a cap mess with Packer.Reynolds,Mbye etc.Think a change will do him good. Like Brooks heading there, Frizell leaving them will help him and might bring out his best again.
We will grow more desperate if Kiwis win the WC, pushing Madge into legendary status, Gildart, Garner, Tualagi and Peachey get MoM awards in their new clubs.Take a deep breath fans. Desperation caused the buying of AD, Packer,Tamou, Peachy and another 1/2 dozen of sub par, or burnt out players. Surely we have learnt from this.
Bit in that Bateman class ...not the biggest backrower going around ..and playing that style takes a massive toll on your body ...even starting to see that in Felise Kaufusi
If that’s true what a round to skipThey mentioned late November ..early December .....not sure if I mentioned that I had heard someone mention we will miss out Magic Round ....
Especially if you brought tickets for all of the days and you don’t get to see your team playIf that’s true what a round to skip
I'd take klemmer and frizzel in a swap for Brooks and cash no problemsMole
Newcastle are prepared to release their two most experienced - and highest paid - forwards in a desperate bid to spice up their roster for next season.
It's been well known for some time that player of the year David Klemmer doesn't get on with coach Adam O'Brien and is available to rival clubs for next season.
But Wide World of Sports has also learnt that the club is shopping around powerhouse former Blues Origin and Kangaroos forward Tyson Frizell to rival clubs.
The Knights want to move the pair on and bring in some new blood to freshen up their squad.
They remain in the hunt for Tigers halfback Luke Brooks who is at the top of their shopping list.
The Tigers are interested in Klemmer but have rejected the idea of a swap with Brooks.
Brooks seems certain to sign for the Knights for 2024 and the Knights are then hoping they can negotiate an early release for next season.
we are getting a home game again at magic round 2023 apparentlyEspecially if you brought tickets for all of the days and you don’t get to see your team play
I think it is insane (no pun intended Ink ) you go to any game at Suncorp and we have thousands of fans ......Parra always draw big .....Saints are well supported in Brisbane .....obviously the Warriors are ....Melbourne as well because of that Qld connection ....if it was my call for Magic Round ...it would be Canberra with the bye ...even Cronulla seem to get a fair few fans at Brisbane games ...but they seem to travelIf that’s true what a round to skip
Frizell and Klemmer haven’t played a full season with a club, with injuries a d rep duties. Why would that change now?If we sign both of them there will be no room for our young players.
