Laurie has a far better pass on him than Doueihi, He is faster, his defence is superior and Gould on commentary said his position is 5/8.
I think Paul Crawley is the original "Baitman," just not the one we're after.
Parramatta have thrown fan favourite Zac Cini a lifeline. Cini – who played four games for the Tigers last season – played reserve grade for the Eels this year. He will move into a development spot at the Eels for next season before being handed a top 30 contract in 2024. (DT)

Media claiming Hastings and Bateman not getting along is exactly the same as Robbie Farah and Benji leading opposite factions in the dressing rooms, media were claiming that for years.
Which would explain why they had him in the system for years and never played him there....
Are there any players in the side, Or coaches that you don't have a ridiculous never ending love affair with?

Bateman didn't exactly leave Canberra on good terms. He has the stink of mercenary about him. Spent nearly a full year injured demanded ridiculous extension and asked for release 4 times when the Raiders wouldnt come to tge party then cried homesick to get out of the contract

In my opinion The Pom has the best information on this site. I am basically 99% confident he only releases information sanitized via the club.
Don't let my lack of credibility and outright stupidity put you off in this instance.
Yes, that's a worry. Apisi will be the organiser, and probable captain. He will run the plays, i hope Brooks role will be to follow him, with Stains hanging around the ruck. But this is just guessing and hoping like all of us.

I like how Paws is positive. I think it's awesome. I just can't see Laurie being a proven option in the halves at NRL level. Maybe it will work but I have zero confidence.

I listen to listen to coaches like Sheens, Cleary, Bellamy, Bennett and Payten. I also listen to what Gould has to say as he recruited Laurie. I leave Maguire to you.

He comes across as a signing to make when you have a tonne of money and want to tell the boss you've done something. I seriously don't get it.
Well there is a different coaching structure in place .so we will know next year

Players evolve. Laurie plays like a second 5/8 from 1. He has a great pass, good instincts and vision, pace and is a good defender.

Interesting comments re: Laurie.
I think his best position is wing.
On the smaller side with good footwork like Renouf.
They played him on wing for the PM13s game.
Doesn't have the skills to be 6 imo and is an average 1...
Hoping he shows improvement next year though.

Another one of my favourite players. He was a centre unlike any I've seen. We don't have any players that are within cooee of being at that level.
