While I can understand that his actions in the past have jilted a number of fans, I don't think anyone believes that the club doesn't mean something to him. I'd imagine his return stint would energise him in ways that say, Tamou wouldn't have experienced. He's still been productive, despite declining. And we have a very young forward pack.
And honestly- who else would understand the...subtleties...of how this club works better than Woods? At least he wouldn't be coming here unaware of what he walks in to.
