Luke Brooks #167

He’s not even thinking of doing that.
He’s come out and said ‘If I have anything to do with it he’ll be the 7’.
He’s the bloody coach lol.. maybe he won’t have anything to do with it.
Same article says Hastings is going nowhere so that means he’ll still be doing half of Brooks job for him if Brooks does stay… and effectively plays five eight.
The reason?
Brooks is not, and never will be, a top level 7.
Yeah i already knew the answer 😂
Punt the imp 🥾

Exactly, Einstein's theory of stupidity, just keep doing the same thing over and over hoping for a different result. Lets hope Sheens is playing the media and Knights like Gus does at Canterbury, but I am not holding my breath

I really don’t have a problem using him as a running five eighth … as long as he keeps away from decision making and running the team.
What irritates me is that people keep calling him a 7 … and yes, there is a difference between a 7 and a 6 thanks in advance.

But he’s colourblind
The club broke him, it takes a while to come back.
When Jeff Fenech was robbed in Las Vegas in 1991, they ripped his heart out giving the world title to Azuma Nelson. He was never the same fighter.
Brooks said he will be selfish for a change, when it comes to contract negotiations.
He’s been too compliant to the club he loves and they kicked his mates out and wanted him to be a Cooper Cronk. It’s not gonna happen. He’s copped more than the sewerage filtration system at North Heads, and it’s time he stood tall. He’s a valuable commodity now.
I think the club knows he doesn’t want to leave, so he’s gonna show them what he’s worth.
What he doesn’t need is players one off the ruck dictating play and players outside getting in the way. 😜

Brooks is too chicken shit to test his mettle elsewhere.. loyal my arse !
He’s shithouse !
And who cares if he’s had a kid ?
If he hasn’t already set himself up with the money he’s stole from the club he’s dumber than he plays

If he is here he'll be a running half. He'll still have to come up with big plays. It's just that he'll be running the footy a little wider of the ruck. I assume Hastings will be organizing the team in the middle.

I can't watch another season of Brooks in the 7. I am just over his head at this point.
Punt him for the long suffering fans sake.
Matchy Im more or less hoping that Sheens can get him to play a solid halfbacks game next year, especially with Api and Paps in the mix, some other good forwards would make his job easier....dont worry the excuse bag is almost empty for him....

I think a lot goes to the type of game plan Coach Sheens has the team buying into.
Can't wait to see the team come together.
