Brooks must of agree to extend otherwise we are mad letting Hastings walk and the possibility Brooks leave after next year anyway. Anyway I will trust the process (no choice really 🤣 )Klemmer / Hastings swap doing the rounds now on social media.
Says a lot if the club is making that move.
Leads me to believe the powers that be must truly not like him that much....
It's whatever though.
We lose him and keep Brooks, we are the real losers in that situation.
Seems like Sheensy is of this same (incredibly stupid) belief.
I’ve just been mentally listing ADsAlways got to sell yourself, even Biden thinks he's a president dopy Joe
The same game that watched us get 40 put on through Hastings corridor multiple weeks in a row , the same that watched him constantly step back into the ruck because he couldn’t get on the outside of his man . The same game that watched him get torched on the outside multiple times before his injury .I truly wonder what game Sheens and the rest of the idiot clan have been watching to justify the Brooks love.
Then again, Sheens also brought in Anasta, carried two backs on the bench and persisted with John Morris in the halves. So on the other hand, we shouldn't be too surprised by this idiotic decision.
This comes across like a guy selling his house, not liking the price agents tell him he can get and then deciding to sell it himself.Doueihi set to manage himself
Wests Tigers playmaker Adam Doueihi is taking over his own management and has placed a hefty price tag on his services.
Doueihi has been selling himself as a No.7 or No.6 to a rival club and is after a three-year deal worth at least $900,000 a season. I’ve been told by those with knowledge of the situation he wants a minimum of $850,000 for the first season, with his price going up in future years.
With a dearth of quality No.7s in the competition, it’s a good tactic, but it remains to be seen if a club will go for that price. He is a quality player, but has had knee issues in the past. Even with healthy legs, he is going to need a breakout season to reach that level of income.
There are about half-a-dozen $1 million halves in the NRL, headed by Nathan Cleary, Cameron Munster and Daly Cherry-Evans, but Doueihi is not in that class.
The Tigers’ roster is better than it has been and if he can cash in on good service from the likes of Api Koroisau, Jackson Hastings and maybe Luke Brooks he may mount a case for an upgrade.

As in Nu Brown?Brown i would guess, til the youngster is ready
I don't normally get involved in all this Brooks drama but something that stands out to me is the fact that Benji wants him here and extended.. IF anyone knows Brooks its him considering he has played with him and knows his value. People need to ask themselves if Brooks was in a team with a decent forward pack E.g. Rooster , Storm etc he would excel and a lot of great judges know this otherwise clubs would not be chasing him.I truly wonder what game Sheens and the rest of the idiot clan have been watching to justify the Brooks love.

The thing that makes me angry with this club,is we keep reaching back in the past glory days of the old boys club and favourites...Based on what ? This decision, if it happens, is just one part of the future plan. And the other parts of bis plan may more then compensate.
A Long way to go before you can start shouting Sack Sheens.
If you were Brooks' and willing to take a pay cut to remain a one club player, one of the issues I would like addressed is the forward pack. The addition of Papali'i', Koroisau, possibly Klemmer and Bateman plus more zip in Staines is a demonstration of the club's desire to improve. That's a pretty remarkable turn around in forward strength (in an extremely tough market with Redcliffe and cap increase).Brooks must of agree to extend otherwise we are mad letting Hastings walk and the possibility Brooks leave after next year anyway. My Gut feeling is Sheen's has something lined up and might surprise us all
No surprise that's your mindset. You've made it abundantly clear that you don't give a shit about the teams success as long as your little favourites get a run, results be damned.
He only claims a premium from the idiots at our club.I just want to say , that it’s funny how some people can’t see the forest from the trees. Basically brooks has been sought after by other clubs for years , and in the case of Newcastle they were willing to offer him well over a mil to get the deal done .
It’s now looking far more likely he stays and good . Hastings is not an elite half . He’s just someone half decent who isn’t brooks.
If you think brooks is shit . Youre wrong ! Sorry the stats and eye test don’t validate that , and neither does the market .
And his market value has dropped dramatically in recent years yet he still commands a premium .
Queue all kinds of mental gymnastics , about brooks lovers …..
100% this would be a must for me if I was Brooks. If you were Brooks' and willing to take a pay cut to remain a one club player, one of the issues I would like addressed is the forward pack. He should have got Anasta to be his manager. Old mate could make a milDoueihi set to manage himself
