Love how you also conveniently leave out that he was injured for a significant portion of his time at the Broncos. Not to mention leaving out that he was starting HB for QLD in 04 in all three games.

We would also have some decent depth in the squad. I believe we could challenge for semis with this squad if we don’t have many injuries & team selections are chosen correctly as above.

wow i use to love coming on here and reading fellows tigers thoughts and reviews etc over the last 10 years..it has degenerated into such a slanging match and people get shot down for differing views on players and the club. This is so sad as I love my Tigers and our supporters cause we are so passionate and yes we have had 10 years of rubbish but geez we are a resilient bunch. What is being said on here now is down right deplorable cause people have different views.. Seriously supporters pull together and if you have different opinions at least be respectful to each other..

Mate with you 100%. I am one of the longest contributors to this forum. It was once a place of diverse opinions, lively but friendly banter and plenty of humour mixed with some good oil.

Now it’s all about people taking cheap shots at each other. Now I check in twice a day and speed read through ten pages of insults hoping to find a offering from Pom or someone else who actually wants to contribute meaningful conversation

You also forgot to mention that Broncos team was basically an Origin side.

Even if you don't want to count Brooks first game in, Prince's resume shits all over Brooks in the first 8 years. Prince made the finals in his fourth season, made SOO in his 7th (in a team that didn't make the finals), won a premiership and made the AUS team in his 8th. Brooks has not come close to any of those outside of making the finals.

That's not even getting into the fact that Prince was at least 5x the player Brooks is. So what point are you trying to make?

Agree with your assessment …. however I just don’t think Sheens / Benji value Hastings as a 7 and personally I doubt that he is resilient enough for a 13 role.

None of us are in the sheds so it’s all speculation
The fact is (as you agreed) is that Hastings is a better 7 than Brooks on 1/3 the money and the rumour is where punting him .

Wishful thinking. He is signed long term and only ever spoken about being happy where he is and given no indication that he wants to return to Australia.

Credit to Hastings.

Outstanding return/comeback season(albeit interrupted by suspensions and injury) and showed a lot more positive than negative.

He deserves better what this club is alleged or rumoured to be doing to him.

But don’t we do that with all our good players or have with club greats like Robbie and Benji.
It’s amazing how they still wanted to come back to the club and be part of it.
