Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

AD is dreaming for his rumoured asking price. I don't think any club will go for that, he's hardly proven himself. Easy to look decent around a bunch of numpties.

Praying for some good news RE Moses, but I would be very very very surprised. The only thing that could save the Brooks decision.
what about a jack wighton at 6 on 2024 ? if we dont get Moses

Keep Doueihi as a centre on his reported $900k salary request, added with Brooksies reported $1mill+? All those you have named will likely ask for similar to come here. Not much left overs for the other guys.
Additionally, all of these guys will start moving in 2024. What do we do next year?
You get him for 450 k max ...not even the Knighst would pay 900 k for him ....not even the Tuna's pay 900 k for him

Next year we try and get the pack right and get the centre pairing right .......maybe a fullback if one right comes available

if a half can see he walks into a side with everything else sorted ....makes it a lot easier to for the players themselves and the recruitment boys and girls

I like you way of thinking, but geeze you are putting some pressure on 2023.
The performance of the pack has to lift from approx a 4 out of 10 effort this year. Thats a tall order. The centres need even more work.

So much debate on Brooks with most saying all bad or all good . Taking emotion out I feel Brooks who has improved his defence a lot and does have some speed but plays very structured in that he catches and passes on first few tackles and kicks on the 5th .These 5th tackle options generally look rushed and the kicks are often ineffective. Love or hate him Moses is much more instinctive where he plays eyes up footy and the opposition are not quite what he will do whether he will run ,kick or pass on any tackle! In other words an instinctive style vs a structured one . I admit the more go forward the pack gains the more time the half has to figure it out !
I'm not suggesting recruit Moses just using him as comparison .
Can Sheens after so many years get Brooks to play different ?

Dunno Wighton is a hard one for me....
More of a centre / back rower these days I think.
Big powerful running game and not much else.

Raiders paid massive money for him, Is the main reason he's
always been in the spine.

If he'd stayed at Centre his whole career,
He'd make Joey Manu look like Nathan Milone
Out & out centre aye, I agree.

Genuine footballer tho.
Underrated.
