2022 Membership info

I like the inter state package. Might look into that. I didn’t see any pins they normally give out

Well I was 100% correct. Received the email to access the shop.

Apart from actually having to pay $5 for a physical membership card, and getting the free members pack (hat, scarf, lanyard, and presentation box - not even a keyring like in the past - that was $5.50 in the shop), and after shipping (regular not even express), I had a grand total of $3.06 to spend in the store. Not enough to buy anything.

Well I wouldn't really have anyway as the selection is garbage and clearly targeted at children (unless you want a kid styled cartoon tiger plastered on your merchandise).

Both myself and mother were absolutely disgusted and have emailed the club mentioning this, including saying that the membership team could forward it on to the higher ups. However we know that absolutely nothing will come of it.

Just another point of proof the club doesn't care about their members, and are just after more of their money, while offering benefits that are actually just flat out lies.

That is diabolical and reflects terribly on our admin

Yep, and here is the response I received:

Thank you for your email and we appreciate any and all feedback.

The decision to restructure our Membership program in 2023 has come on the back of the feedback we received through many surveys conducted throughout the 2022 season.

While we know this decision is difficult to understand, we have received an overwhelmingly positive response in providing our members a customised approach to their members packs.

We continue to see trends evolving across all global sporting codes and this decision aligns closely with the global sporting market.

We understand certain members want a basic members pack where other want the flexibility to pick and choose.

Each membership product design in the store has various styles applied. Simply click on a product you will see that there are options and styles to choose from.

We want this program to be successful and provider value to our members each and every year.

Our focus is to continue to add value to our members through other initiatives throughout 2023 starting with our Members BBQ being held on 10th December here at Concord Oval.

You will continue to see exclusive member only opportunities which will far outweigh any Membership Pack throughout the season, and we hope to see you actively engaged as a member for the upcoming season.

Kind regards

Stock standard response, no response in regards to the fact that $25 credit equates to just $3 if you choose to use it to pay the postage, and "other benefits", I bet it is events that the majority cannot attend, or don't want to, or things that only a limited number will have access to.

Also a little patronising saying that it is the decision is difficult to understand, no it isn't it is purely the way it is being done that was brought into question.

Just a more eloquent way of saying "Tough Titty",not acceptable to the average supporter

Got the email but no password details. Tried to reset but still waiting for the email to do it. Nothing is easy…

So glad we're finally alinging with the global sporting market. I've been calling for this for years.
Wow, that response is cringey at every turn. Must have got one of the volunteer interns to write it, cheap ass club.

Jebus that’s a terrible selection at ridiculous prices.
$30 for a drink bottle? Come on guys…

I’m nostalgic for the cap/scarf days. This is just asking us to buy in into the insanity. I got $40 credit - why can’t I just use that as a credit to buy a jumper or something? #pathetic

This happened to me as well and when I got in the store area only one of the memberships was credited. This is a joke

Maybe that happened to me. I have $40 for my membership and my boy’s junior one. No idea how much credit I’m supposed to have but it’s mostly overpriced junk.

I got $25 for the two of us. Could only select one package pre ready. Having to pay for a card is what got me
