Gee I love the way a lot of u on this forum want to throw spots to untried kids , most of them are at least 2 years away from been 1st grade standard , blokes like brown my not be the player he was years ago but he is way ahead of what we had last year, he will teach these kids what it takes to play week in week out , so unless u to have another wooden spoon , have faith in sheens , I think he is pulling together a great forward pack , and next year he wii address the backs

So what you are stating is that this guy, who plays in the toughest position, in the toughest comp in the world, is merely pretending to be tough? Hes a tryhard tough guy? Is that your story lol?...
Completely agree about the young players coming through,many probably most will not make FG and that is just something we have to accept.Being the best team in an age group very rarely translates into a top NRL side having said that the club should be giving them as much support as they possibly can to make the transition.We as supporters need patience as all juniors are a work in progress and some that are not rated highly by the club may end up being the best with hard work and perseverance

Any 1 who’s thinks we can throw a 20 year old in to play 25 rounds at lock is delusional. We need experienced players who can handle the week to week grind of nrl till these kids are ready

Yep saw Benny play & a great admirer. I think Benny was the first hooker i remember playing that third playmaker role & kicking from dummy half. But i still think Robbie perfected it.
I rate this kid. A big mistake if we loose him at this point.
Amen to that Ronnie, & love the differing opinions here. Also appreciate that we are all Tigers fans here & just want the Tigs to have a bit of sucess. Im the same as you mate..... Im happy to be wrong if we are winning. 🙂

Benny was crafty like Farah was.
But Smith is clearly the best hooker ever. Possibly followed by Walters and Elias, depending on taste.

Gotta disagree.. Smith for his whole carrer, played behind exceptional forwards. At Melbourne , extremely talented ,well coached, salary cap cheating forwards. Please look at the Origin stats of Farah & Smith. Farah beats him in all bar 2. Unfortunately , some NSW supporters also bought into this QLD crap that Smith was a demi god. Swap teams - Farah for Smith. Under those conditions , I dont believe Smith would have made as many origin appearances as Robbie. IMO, Smith is like Cleary.......anyone who has played footy know its easy to dominate a game when you have good forwards lay the platform........ It is a true champion that plays behind the eight ball for most of his career & still comes up trumps.(eg Andrew Johns)
Yep agree , really rate Rua aswell, we dont want to lose him either. I think Robbie will help Jake in the defence dept aswell.
