Would you swap Simpkin for Dylan Brown?
Wouldn't think twice but zero chance it would even be a discussion.

No one really had a good 2022 from us apart from Joffa and Hastings. But I hope he can improve next year.I rate Jake Simpkin, but I also know he didn't play that well during the year.
I think something is there, let's see if Sheens can work his magic..
Kenny on 1 leg was kingNo one really had a good 2022 from us apart from Joffa and Hastings. But I hope he can improve next year.

Wingers these days can come in all shapes and sizes but need to be able make some good hit up metres coming out of your own end early in the tackle count.Kenny on 1 leg was king
True he was good too despite being on one leg.Kenny on 1 leg was king
surely it would only be the case if his injured leg hasn’t responded to treatment? It's interesting they are trying to move him on. He killed it for us.

I’ve heard it ain’t going well. He may be medically retiring.surely it would only be the case if his injured leg hasn’t responded to treatment?
Sad if true. If so, he can hold his head high. After playing busted in a hopeless team yet still giving his all.I’ve heard it ain’t going well. He may be medically retiring.
Understand and maybe the kid in reggies is one in a 1000 players to jump up & land it in NRL, I just don't see it happening next 2-3yrs thats all.Blind Freddy can see that Sheens is firmly focused on the Matt’s hooker from wests, he’s got api starting - rua for ressies / cover, smith also…
If he can get something for Simpkin, my bet would be he’ll move…
He’s not a priority at WT’s it would seem - he’ll be aware of that soon if he isn’t already….
Smith?I think if Bateman is signed we should forget about signing Brown & go for a half. Seriously, what's the plan if Brooks or AD goes down? Laurie to the halves?
It's a train and trial contract. He's not blocking anyone's pathway. If a kid can't get a spot in NSW cup over him then they're not good enough yet. When we signed Smith, i thought it was a backup for 6 and 7. Then people say he can't play till mid round. Others say it's to get an experienced player to lead the kids,in the cup side. Why would you fill a spot with a 30yr old player, if your looking at pathways ? Can someone explain the rational ?
Unless it is some useless nuffie that we can suck the Eels into taking so that we don't use up a top 30 spot.I'd take Brown and keep Simpkin.
Give the Slimey's nothing at all.
Wouldn't want to dirty or crease the dinner suit.Smith also never took the line on from memory....always distributing and never let himself get tackled.
Could organise the bejesus out of an attack, but with those forwards he could do whatever and not worry about getting belted in tackles.
Yes he did lol he scored heaps of tries from dummyhalfSmith also never took the line on from memory....always distributing and never let himself get tackled.

How's this, he tries to be tough, he's just not that good at it...Thats a bit different to saying "he tries to be tough"
I hope that it's not because the bloke was made to play injured.I’ve heard it ain’t going well. He may be medically retiring.
