I wonder whether Mitch Pearce is interested in coming home to Aus and finally the tigers.
I’m not as convinced as others. We desperately need a senior half with a great kicking game before anything else. Moses fits that mould, has a bit of time on his side until our young halves develop.
But be honest those that follow the juniors a lot closer. Is there a N Cleary, DCE or even a M Moses equivalent in our junior ranks?
If the answer is no we need to a recruit a half for the long term as well as the short term.

My take on things, if we miss MM and reading the tea leaves that seems almost certain, is not the end of the earth. There will be another player to throw a lot of money at.

In saying the above, it will go down as another big signing we have chased very hard and missed. It gives the media more amo to tell the world our club is on the nose. We desperately need to get one of these signings over the line, coming close is getting tiresome.

Anyway shortly we will be able to put MM to bed start to focus on the pommy kid, I wonder what club will get under our noses with him

I thought TPA's were capped?
 
If that is the case bulldogs would be cheating the cap, you can’t have TPA’s be anything related to the club and that includes one of your honchos being a share holder. I think Parramatta BMW is just a TPA his manager has sorted out for him it’s very normal for local car places to give players cars, lot of our players have the same. I wouldn’t read too much into it.

I’m not completely sure but I don’t think a club sponsor (eg; Laundy or Lee H) can provide any TPA’s.
The NRL wouldn’t allow Harry T to give any TPA’s as he was too close to the Tigers.
 
Moses and his Manager meet with the Tigers hierarchy yesterday for 2 hours. Our best and final offer was tabled, they are going away to consider, we were told to expect a decision next week. It's still a 3-way battle...the rumor that Souffs made a late pitch for MM is not true.

Why is this BT, what's the rule there?
I believe clubs can't provide the TPA, so that's probably what your referring to.
 
We need to make sure we get Moses if we’re really committed to being a top 8 team - we need a halfback more than anything and you can argue Moses will be the best 7 that’s deemed gettable in the whole competition right now

We can’t afford to miss out on him, especially to let him go to the bulldogs too

Api is easily better than Mahoney, that’s not even a contest. Hell JMK was better than Mahoney this year. Burton has become insanely over rated. The bloke has a massive boot and an ok running game. He doesn’t set up his backs and has shown no organizational skills. He still hasn’t proven anything as a 5/8, the bloke is still a centre IMO. If the dogs really pay $900k for him then I would piss myself laughing at them. He’s basically Jack Wighton from Wish.

Yeah they are ridiculous.
They got hyped up for a slow reindeer named Corey Allen. They get hyped up for Burton who is just a centre who can bomb (dogs fans love bombs in general) they thought Duffy was the next Slater and that Flanagan would be the next George Williams. That TPJ wouldnt be lazy all of a sudden and that Lichaa was better than Cook.

I think all the old school clubs should stick together. We should target fake plastic clubs like the titans and the (no region) Dolphins.

This is interesting i didnt know. The one we should be lookin at is Johnny Lomax, he would start ahead of George Williams in the cup if he didnt get injured.

This isnt quite true, because Moses/manager met Eels earlier and it was a negative one. Eels are out.

Dunno who you know but I know Mitchell’s aunt and Mitchell’s cousin. Met his old man once and Mitchell’s late grand dad too. Nice fam. Nice ppl - very close knit

Don’t see anyone anymore since I moved to work for the federal govt in milk town
