Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

The club submitted its “final” offer to Mitch Moses this week. 4 year deal outright. Apparently last deal was 3 year + 1 year mutual option.
$5mill over the 4 year period. His management indicated a decision will be made next week.
Thanks - any news about the 30th spot? Any more updates in general??

Is it true he was asking for $1.5m?

Hopefully we can get it over the line. Need a top line halfback.

Jesse Ramien will stay at Cronulla, was some internal discussion but no offer towards him at the point.

In relation to RTS he’s been discussed before & nothing has come across my way in relation to a meeting in NZ. If he’s serious about coming back to the NRL the club is certainly keen to entertain that idea.

30th spot will be a player who can play 1-5 of sorts. But Sheens has a plan for that last spot.

Nathan Brown is still a chance, one more spot is expected to be freed up for with an off contract 2023 player on the move.

Thanks for the update. I assume you can't reveal who is potentially being moved on?
Also, would you know if popular opinion of the fans is ever taken into account during the clubs decision making? For example I know that I am in the minority with not wanting Moses back at the club. I would guess it's about a 70/30 split. But, say for example it was a 90/10 split against bringing Moses back. Would this influence the club's decision, or would they continue forth in what they believe is best?

It did once with Willie Mason, he was all but signed till all the fan complaints came in.

Thanks @THE_POM. Any idea if we have a plan B for the halves already in motion if the decision doesn't go the way we want? Or is it just all in on Moses for the moment and deal with it after the decision.
