I can not wait to see Matamua with an off season I saw some footage of him playing halfback in the lower grades and has an amazing long cut out pass could be a Tod Payton Glenn Stewart Wade Graham type of player and has a kicking game if someone goes down mid game in the halfs he will step up

You conveniently left out Bj , peachy etc. Between Bj, the jet and Tamou that would have been a million from our cap on absolute crap. You can spin it however you want, the Madge years were a massive failure and so was his coaching. The club is finally making inroads and that is thanks to Sheens. There is still more work to do but all the moves have been positive rather than hope under Maguire. Fancy thinking blokes like Jimmy the jet, Peachy and Bj were going to turn this club around. Sheens knows what’s required - I’ll leave it to him.

Ok, obviously you have a serious Madge crush going on and you’re not dealing well with his failure or giving Sheens any credit for his recruitment successes. I don’t really care who coaches the side, I just want progression and hope. Under Madge there was none. In fact we got worse every year. It’s a results driven job and he failed so he had to go. End of story.
Right now, things look great in comparison and you’re sulking..?

You can't say Sheens turning up and 12 months later the roster is overhauled and we have some sense of direction is just good timing

Now you failed to comment on sheens sacking for his failures at previous clubs, how could that be possible if he is the messiah or is he just another Madge but with more money to buy improvement ?

Grunt meant our 2022 campaign was ruined. We have hired the right people at least.

Playmakers, it's like Now there is Zero excuses for the fifth year running. At least we have a known good hooker, and a halfback that at least once upon a time could perform.

Speed? Sheens will likely sort this out 2023 or 2024. We are going to play fast footy that is guaranteed.

Yes yes yes. Our kicking game has been way off and I believe Brooks is our only known kicker. That said you have both Robbie and Benji around.

I still cannot believe Jason Taylor who was one of the best kickers before Hasem El Mazri and just after Darryl Harrigan ... DID NOT TEACH OUR TEAM HOW TO KICK!

Madge wasn't a massive failure.
However he did not bring the bacon. I am glad Madge came to our club and I wish him well.

Yet by 2022, it was ground hog day. Same tactics, same playbook, same loss.

BJ, Peachy all failed. I will still defend James Roberts. He has a stack of faults but he tried, sadly he did loose his speed. Would be glad to buy that guy a beer.

The under 500k signing from Madge were pretty good. Stefano, Twal, Joe O.

Then come 2022 it goes crazy with Oliver Gildart, clearly we were muscling up in the middle then decide to import a british lightweight.. NOPE.

Either way agreed with Tiger tragic. We have better signings now and we know Klemmer will work well with Sheens.
