Nah not too young, he's 17/18.

Not listed in a squad because he's finishing high school this year, so he's staying on the North Coast until then.

No, pretty sure he’s just going to play for Taree City in Group 3.

Would most likely play first grade for them, you would think.

I'd be surprised to see him in first grade this season but I'd love to see him force his way into the team.

I’d say he will reach reserve grade this year get him used to playing against men first then give him a full preseason with first grade and see what he can do

Has already played reserve grade in QLD as an 18-year-old.

Just turned 19, so would not be super surprised to see him play NRL this year.

If not this year, 2024 for sure.

Be Surprised if you want, but it will happen. At least 1-2 games off the bench. The kid killed it on debut in Qld Cup as a 18 yo schoolboy, who'd captained his school's A grade side since he was 15. Special talent

We've been lucky to recruit him with 4 Qld teams vying for talent in that State.

Fa’agutu can play, no doubt about it. will storm SG Ball you’d think before playing the bulk of the season between Flegg and Cup. first grade in 2023 might be a stretch with the depth in our pack but his ability is unquestionable.

Sheens has in the past given a young bloke a couple of games in first grade and then sends them back to reserve grade for a period to work on the areas that 'get found out' against NRL players. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a couple of games off the bench in the second half of the season. I hope so. Very exciting.

I think it's safe to say our lock position is in good hands with Faagutu possibly backing up Matamua. I've seen this kid play in Brisbane and he will normally play full game or majority of the game so he has the motor. I think we'll just need to see how he adjusts to first grade game speed though but I like our future if we've got young guns like Faagutu in our ranks

I don't know but Faagutu played for Marsden SHS. I note the coach of Marsden SHS was Matt Hartigan.
