any old Western Suburb supporter that fished The Entrance channel (central coast nsw ) mid late 90's that swapped some of your catch for oysters still floating out there in la la land

I had a go with Dunlops and a spinner rod but didn't quite work lol.

The two fish I've never caught and and promised myself I will? A blackfish and a Murray Cod.

Great post...There used to be a spot up the coast I think called north rocks? Shoulder room only, lots of black fish caught there in an afternoon.
 
true story,chilling with friends, a family joins us.on wharf.2nd cast ,father has snared a duck,its all tangled up ,friend speaks up,drop your rod n pull the line in slowly,they frnd fthr untangle duck(more placid than a chook ,upside down)father keeps pulling in like he;s hand lining ,no S 5meters past the duck was a very nice flathead
 
Got a 2nd hand 13ft 6 in 7 wrap Snyderglas beach rod last year. It's been at a mates in QLD but finally got it here today.
Needs a new butt/ sandspike and possibly new guides but I'm looking forward to testing it out when I put the new butt on it
Tailor fishing started off positive a couple of weeks back but has gone quiet again. Pros have been out netting the mullet so that has probably affected the fish numbers. Anyone else getting much off the beach?
