Healthy 🤣
I don't get this "whack 2 paddies + more fillings on. Seriously I want a burger that can fit in my mouth. Not something I need a knife or whatever to rip up.

Grill'd K.I.S.S.! Yes they are in Sydney. Not bad, Good, sometimes very good but not Extra extra fantastic.

#1 for me.
Delicious 💯
Totally with you there Demps.

Oporto is a complete upgrade on Maccas or any of the fast food joints.
Well marinated and juicy chicken. Their 1/4 or 1/2 boxes come with Garlic and pita bread.

Burgers are pretty good as well. I shouldn't talk about their burger + two fillet meals.
That said I think their grilled tenders are frigging fantastic while the crumbed/fried ones are Meh.
Side salads are actually pretty good.

Yes slightly pricey, but hey so is Maccas now. Like KFC but without the huge regret.

Oporto trumps all the takeaway options imo.

Never had a bad meal there.

Except one time in 2011, I had some ordinary grilled chicken. I spoke with the franchisee who was a friend, after that they introduced thermometer checking the chicken.

A bunch of new drive thru locations have popped up in my area. I go as a special treat every so often - not regularly as I don't want to get sick of it. But it's a top tier meal when it comes to take away imo.

Side note - Carl Jnr is rubbish

I don't celebrate the date...
Probably have some pesto
pasta and ice cream though
Will you make the pesto or store bought @Kaito ?

If you're in Melbourne and want to eat pizza or pasta you NEED to checkout Gradi at Crown. They've won an award for the best margherita pizza in the world. The pizza melts in your mouth and the pasta dishes are fantastic!

Unfortunately not, just some store
bought Genovese pesto w/ dry chilli's
and some parmigiano haaa

Kept note of the recommendation,
I'm heading to Melbourne in a few
months will definately check it out.
Googled them — the pizzas look
amazing as does the pappardelle
Melbourne it's in Southbank too
so quite central thank you for that

Same
We went shopping, had prawns and oysters for lunch, and now I'm enjoying a glass of purple bubbly from my recent (got back last night) trip to WA

Sounds lovely Suze, getting fancy
with the purple bubbly heyyy haha
never been to WA would like to go

Anybody had experience growing shiitake or oyster mushrooms on logs? Got one of each for Xmas - just soaking them now to place under the trees down the back. Watched countless YouTube videos but would appreciate any tips from those who have grown them on the mid-north coast.

I'll wait for any feedback cause I'm interested too mate.

I tried growing shiitakes in a block form from a supplier. It fruited quite well but the size was extremely disappointing - won't buy them again. My daughter got these from a guy who grows heaps but doesn't regularly sell logs - Belly of the World Mushrooms.

I haven’t attempted to make it myself but I’ve had it a lot at Greek friends places and it’s the first thing I’d order in a Greek restaurant if they have it on the menu. Was told my one of the mothers that it’s the cinnamon in the mince that makes the difference.

I could really do with one now. Might try and make one for dinner tonight lol
We do souvlaki on pita, with garlic sauce, lettuce, tomato and chips. All the food groups and delicious!
