Adam Doueihi #227

It would do Adam no favours being on social media, and giving too much of his opinions, Many coaches, not just the Tigers, would be concerned. Better to let your performance do the talking.

The Forum has been overating players by comparing them to others in the team, that is a poor comparison. Your comments are spot on .

The thing for me is Muster re-signed with Melbourne. He is contracted up and has a long term future with them.
We don’t know if Doueihi will be with the WT’s beyond 2023. If he was locked in with a settled position and a contract till at least the end of 2024..I’d have a different opinion about Doueihi As captain.
 
Doueihi had a shocker last year, but due to returning from injury I will give him a second chance. Some on here are so scared he will show up brooks in the halves that they will try anything to undermine him. The classic is laughing at the media for saying brooks is on $1million but taking it as facts that one media outlet said he was asking for $950,000. Stop the bias let’s see how he goes after a full pre season. Because I guarantee you a firing doueihi is our best chance of getting some wins this year.

the media firstly said Brooks was in 1.2 in April 2022 then changed to 1.3 million then back down to 1 million

You have to drop him if he plays really poorly. Let's be honest though Brooks is a shoe in to get picked if fit every week. Who else do you play there ? Wakeham or Laurie ?

A lot of people are judging AD on a handful of come back matches from a ACL. I am willing to give him half a season before putting the knife in.

If AD is 6 then we are going to have issues, Defence and Ball Hogging.

Defensively you want a weaker 6 then a weaker Centre, and hey maybe its better moving him to 6 so that our flanks are covered. Naden is a better defender and I believe Staines is better then AD too, Unsure if they will be the Center pairing and I don't mind Naden being on the wing as more solid defensive cover (he was one of the Bulldogs not so best defenders yet he stands very high in our squad because defence is so SO poor).

AD just doesn't pass. He is like Reynolds in that respect. He gets the ball and runs it, that's why everyone thinks he is a better centre. You want your ball Hogs to be one of the last receivers, not 6.

Look, not meaning to flame AD. He has talent, he has potential. He does put in. But he has to make his tackles and we have far too many turnstyles in our team. I see AD could end up like Craig Wing, a bench player that fits any position. We really need him to pass more to the players around him and Sheen's 200 passes a day will help with that.

Without Tackling and good defence I see huge problems.
