Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Based on that article? Mmmm
He is playing the game, I love the it's in my managers hands I havnt thought about it line.
Yeah cause the players are slaves who play where they're managers tell them for whatever amount the managers say.
Lucky for Mitchell the Nepalese donkeys didn't join the party with a 1.5 mill offer, or he'd be packing his bags apparently cause he has no say. 🤣

Leave it until round 1 and see how much money I can get. Good strategy.

I'm pretty confident he will be a tiger in 2024
based on what.. we were confident but he hasn't yet signed, and now we find out eels have revised their offer and edge closer. if he was going to sign it would have happened by now. we need to move on, and i have heard that's exactly what tigers are doing. hope Pom can confirm Welsby interest.

think we will get Moses, re-sign Brooks and get Jesse Ramien for 2024

My answer is twofold.
Firstly if we get two big props, naturally we would be replacing two.
Not including Dave Hollis for extra depth.
Secondly, we need punch. Our pack is so small. If we had a two prong front up attack with Klemmer and Lodge and Ofa of the bench, we can start to get on the front foot. Twal is good but he doesnt bend the line. He would be better at the dogs where he belongs.
Hollis ended up at the Knights

Unless he ruptures an acl, it is a risk if he starts the season without a long term contract, he can use his option for next year but a year out of the game would hammer his value for 2025 negotiations, so I think your right he might announce what he's doing leading to round 1 to maximise negotiating time while minimising any potential issues that might arise physically. If he does sign for us be very interesting to see how he navigates things at Parra.
