Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I remember watching us thrash Manly in a trial not long ago and thinking this is the year. We came bottom four and Manly made finals.
Yeah, Laurie got a hat trick and we were pumped. The air came out pretty quick though.
I know trials are just that but I was actually
just hoping to see some new organisation and effort. Maybe like the Warriors did.
I guess with new halves etc and most of the younger guys a bit out of their depth it was obviously an unrealistic expectation.
I’ve got to take a deep breath, get next week out of the way and then prepare for first games at home. I guess we’ll have to wait a little longer for Sheensball to kick in.

I still think there is plenty of talent there. I think Reilly might be an option now. I still can't wait to see how Faagutu progresses. Matamua is probably not ready yet but could be a really good prospect. He is just a kid. Tumeth might come on.
These guys are our replacements when our top 13 inevitably gets injured during the season
Last nite was a wakeup call, tho not sure what we can do about it now other than be patient with those with genuine talent and ruthless with others
Wasnt impressed with Reilly, tho he efended well..too small for an NRL centre,so hed better brush up his playmaking skills if hes gonna make it in NRL

Gus on Twitter:

“Just for information of @NRL_Bulldogs fans — despite constant media speculation, Bulldogs do not have any pending offers out for players on market to join club in 2023 or 2024. No offers. We’d like to let things settle for a while and see how our youngsters perform. Thank you.”
Gus lies through his teeth constantly. Trying to feed the myth that they are development club and aren't in the process of poaching players, junior and established, from just about every other club. Very disappointing to hear he has got Kautoga.

You have to question the motive of the article. I certainly don’t see Read as a casual fan writing up his own opinion piece where he puts Moses on a pedestal.
Someone has requested this is published and given some the amount of fear mongering directed at Parramatta if they lose Moses I’d say it’s coming from his management.
Interesting that they try and drag the bulldogs back into the discussion to generate another bidding war.

I am starting to lose hope with Moses and starting to believe his manager is just using us to get every cent from Eels.. I hope I'm wrong but that's my gut feeling now as this wait is starting to get out of control.
Can The Pom confirm the rumour we are in detailed discussions with Jack Welsby’s management 3 year deal
thought I read somewhere this week St Helens has already set Welsby is going absolutely nowhere
