Where do you see Staines?

Probably in a battle with Nofa for a wing spot assuming all other spots go as planned

I was really excited in what I saw with AJ before he got injured and Benji is a Talau fan

The centres are the biggest question mark imo ...and seeing defensively centre is so important a position and their isn't a great deal between the 5 real candidates lets pick the best defensive centres and tell them to hit the holes hard in attack

Possibly, but the way he plays I would think right side his preferred option. It would appear doubtful if he will be given that chance, type cast as wing/ full back so maybe gonna have to bide his time.

If its the Daine Laurie vs Parra when we had our first win in 2022 where he ran 40m off a bomb to smash gutho! He deserves first shot but needs to play like that week in week out

To be fair, many of the ones that played on the weekend aren't professionals.

Agree with you mate. Of the guys that you would expect to feature regularly in our top 17, I think there were very good signs from Stefano and Pole in particular.

I'll save my rage for how the team performs in the next trial against Canberra and the first few rounds of the season proper when we can expect something closer to an actual NRL side taking the field.

Having watched must of the games this weekend, I have changed my original thought that we could get into the 8 this year or even next year . Having watched our young exciting talent ( tongue in check ) and then watching the young talent that the sharks and the dogs and a few others , OURS fall well short of the mark , not to say we don’t have a couple of really good kids but must of there’s are ready for 1st grade . I hope I am wrong but seeing is believing they say

I've been waiting for over 10 years for the turn around.

Wests Tigers are more like the Queen Mary than any kind of bus that I know of because it has been taking an excruciatingly long time to turn around.

Hopefully with the new crew on board things might start to take a turn for the better.

Nah... He's obtained a visa once before. Only way is if he had done so since he's been back. If it's criminal, usually public knowledge.

It’s why I always said 23 will be tough, 24 will be solid and everything is triggering for a 25 onwards based off the direction forming.

If we have an injury free year we might get some surprising results but geez our depth if terrible atm. When Sheens talks about the kids they are at best 2-3yrs off.

Sharks were good, Graham was all over the park leading the way (attack/defensive). Bulldogs I thought were ordinary, very one out stuff from them against a terrible Raiders side most of the game. Mahoney was a step above his reserve grade opponents & Pele did a good step / offload but then fizzed out.
