I would rather Laurie at fullback, I think he was okay in a horrible team last year, he definitely has a huge ceiling and I think he’s gunna have a good year for us this year, he’s got some competition brought in to lift his game. I really think he’s shown enough to be optimistic of him, he’s still young and if he was in a top team with a great pack he’d have a lot more room to work in returning the ball and also in attack, hopefully our new forward pack can lay that platform for him to play off the cuff that suits him

we resigned doueihi for a extra year but we want moses for 24

doueihi’s previously said
“play me at 6 or let me play nsw cup”

and moses wont play without his bromance partner

the math aint mathing unless
1: our slimey valentine has swiftly rejected us
2: AD had an attitude switch
3. our toxic ex has accepted the PO for 24’ and we’ll have a sequel to this debacle in post season 23’

I think AD wants to secure himself for 1 year so he's got time to prove himself at 6 and command a higher value without stressing about next year's contract.

I'm not sure how anyone can say Sheens is not responsible for this given post Maguire we were 1 from 12 including a record score being put on us.

If we didn't win the spoon we'd still have half the rejects we somehow managed to offload!

AD is too slow for fullback imo.I have zero problems with him in the centres or at 6 if he applies himself in defence

It’s higher than realistic other options we are apparently looking at (RTS won’t come to us) (Welsby would have plenty of offers at better off clubs and also Saints would want well over a million in compensation) I can’t think who else everyone’s suggested.

Staines is only signed up for this year and Laurie at this stage has not been offered a new deal to my knowledge.

Maybe that was the plan - the club was happy with mediocrity for 10 years. With Madge still there we were looking at another 13th finish. Maybe the club needed to get the spoon to finally wake up that buying journeymen and over priced over the hill players will always get you a finish around 13th. I have no qualms with what happened.
