Nice to see the teams for this Saturdays trial aren't a mystery
I chuckle a little.
I emailed the club earlier in the week stating that it was disappointing there was no news on pathways trials, or teams, lineups etc. They even told me there wouldn't be any more trials for lower grades until the season starts.

Then suddenly 2 articles on pathways in a day... One promoting the trials and another with the team lists!

Even if most members aren't interested, it doesn't hurt to throw us that are a bone on the website

Given the team that was listed for Cup I'm surprised it was that close.
Cup will be weak again this year.

There will be 10-11 players dropping back once the NRL side is full strength
Have you seen our top 30? Most of them maybe reserve grade strength. Shot lets be honest stains blore laurie etc don't start at the pennies. Some of them are our hopes.

Busy day watching some footy @balmain boy! Who stood out for you across the grades?
Yes, a mate and I did our best to watch the grades, missed the end of sg ball to try see some of the NSW cup trial.

Both the NSW cup and Flegg sides were extremely different to what will run out in round one.

Valavatu looked sharp in Cup. Canberra had Croker and Woolford playing amongst others, compared to our mish mash of cup and Massey players. Camroux struggled early, failing to find tick and kicking a restart out on full.

Wests tigers came wooden spooners last year for a reason playing players that weren’t up to first grade standard koe team came second last for the same reason but continue to play them need to clean it out or not going to go anywhere yesterdays trial was bad all round bad trial bad field bad time of day bad management game even called off early because of conditions cmon wests pick your game up only couple of those players worth holding on to

Yesterday's side was not a true reflection of what our KOE team will look like. There are a bunch of players from today's trial who will fall back into that grade once the season starts.
