Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

That won't happen. With Miller out the back looking ordinary it's going to be a.long year for the Ol Knights.
I thought Miller went alright. At least he takes dirty hit ups. Pongha plays like he doesn't like the tough stuff and that's why he is targeted. For all his talent - and he has got bucket loads - I can see why playing with him, and coaching
him would be frustrating - especially as he is the player the club has thrown everything at.

Yeah he tries, needs alot more time at the back though.

I doubt he’s too slow? I saw him come from behind to tackle a warriors outside back.
I’ve seen a few halves move slowly to give a false impression? I think he can move when he has to.
I noticed that too. He was first back on the line in a long break. Maybe he is quick? But he doesn’t play with speed. As in there is limited acceleration. When moving across or to the line.

The eels forums are turning on Moses now

would be funny if both clubs withdrew their offers

Although MM does have an option in his favour for 2024 at the eels

He‘s not a slam dunk signing that ices games regularly when he has to & he’s too inconsistent generally to be your highest paid player .

other players will emerge , you just have to be smart enough to recruit them ( like nicho Hynes ) or keep & develop them in your system ( like Lachlan Ilias) ) ,

But those opportunities aren’t there if you throw all your eggs in Mr inconsistent’s basket for the next 4-5 years .

You look what DCE did yesterday. His kicking game, support play, defence and organisational skills were top shelve. He plays at this level most weeks in a team in recent times that has been up and down. He is the type of player you pay overs for. With Moses he can take a game by the scruff of the neck and dominate but it is rare and normally not when it’s really needed . Moses is better than what we have but he is nowhere as good as the price tag he has put on himself.

Issue is we put the price tag on him
