So…where to from here? 🤔

Where to from here eh?

Well it’s off to Belmore next Sunday to get a stomping off a squad who just beat the Storm in Melbourne. It will also be their first home game, so big vocal crowd expected to come and watch their new team.

The following week we go to Melbourne to take on a side embarrassed at home this weekend and surely looking to make a statement in front of their faithful. Oh and they will likely be celebrating the return of Cam Munster as well.

We will then scrape ourselves off the pavement and travel to Suncorp to cop an arse reaming from the in form side of the comp so far., jam packed with fast freakish ball runners and a tireless pack.

and let’s not forget…Easter Monday v Parra who have had us pencilled in for a belting since Papali’i left and we so publically chased Moses.

Looking forward to the round 7 bye and our first competition points…

Yes, it is too much.

The board and club don’t give a shit about the fans, and definitely don’t want to hear their opinions.

Certain board members seem to actively despise the fan base.

Just keep your money flowing to the club via merch/memberships/ticket sales and shut up, thanks.
If that’s really how they feel then perhaps the fans can not just shut up but never turn up to anything ever again - no games, no fan days, no WT community initiatives, no merchandise sales, no bloody nothing! Then we’ll see how long they last. Honestly wish they would just fold and put us all out of our misery anyway.

1. Staines
2. Nofoaluma
3. Naden
4. Talau / Kepaoa / To'a
5. Tupou
6. Brooks
7. Wakeham

Brooks is a running half, needs to move to 5/8th

I don't think there should be any room for Doueihi. He is a defensive liability in any position he plays.
I don't think there should be any room for Laurie.
Nofoaluma shouldn't be in the side either, but if Staines moves to fullback, we don't have replacement for both wings unless we play To'a / Tupou on the wings

The forwards are still soft imo. Twal Stef and Klemmer no line speed and slow to get on the front foot, don't intimidate anyone - not one enforcer in the whole club.
Feel sorry for the players outside AD and Brooks who cant have any confidence in either of them to execute any attacking raid effectively - they set their players up to look bad.
Don't get how Laurie gets bagged even if he is not a top class FB because at least he has a dig.
The coaching team have tried to sell them a false reality about what will bring success by throwing shade at the last coach, and I'm not sure after a full preseason of fluff and two embarrassing losses where they go from here.

You bring up a lot of good points, and rightfully so.

The Luke Brooks thing, I've back the guy for years, in hope that the persistence pays off. But his lack of intelligence, even football intelligence, is going to get this club nowhere.

I seem to think the players are trying too hard to bring a win individually, not cohesively, and that is hurting them in the long run.

Success comes as a whole, not individually. Even the new signings that have come in, think they're here to inject the "winner" instinct, rather than just play to your abilities, not over to prove your worth.
Good observation, I said the same thing to my Daughter yesterday @ the game.

It doesn't matter:
Who we sign or what we do.

Unless we move on Luke Brooks, nothing will change. Nothing.
He is the most insipid and non dominant halfback in NRL history.

He has also turned the best backrower in the game into Invisible ICE.

We let the wrong number 7 go. It was obvious yesterday and has been for 10 years.

and Expensive.

We let the wrong #7 go

Love to see the vibe at "training" (if u want to call it that) today. Patting themselves on the back saying that they only lost by 2 and Nofa taking gangsta selfies in the background. Pack of loosers.
Nofos nickname at our place is the ballerina

I like this. To'a though is the first centre picked. This was proven yesterday.

Brooks has to be a running half, That is his role.

I can't play Nofo on the back of that effort.

Laurie has to stay in the team. He did plenty of good things yesterday. I think though him and Staines should switch between wing and fullback a bit. Staines is a bit safer and a bit quicker but Laurie has better footwork.

AD is the big issue. I'd consider him at fullback but I can understand dropping him.

It's just moving deckchairs on the titanic atm though.

We need some better backline players and especially spine players.
