I think the issue is Sheens

Round 3 sheens has backed up last week in the opening minute of reff blaming in the press conference this guy has lost his mind. Step down mate

If Sheens blamed the ref AGAIN for his own ineptitude then he seriously should give it away.We lost due to his poor coaching and the only reason we could have snatched a win we didn't deserve is due to individual play.
His time was up a decade ago.

I agree with you.

My independent thought is that anyone who thought bringing the dinosaur Sheens out of retirement as a head coach in 2023 was a good idea needs to seek help and touch grass.

Every interview he does, both before and after the game, he whinges about the refs.
I'm as one eyed as anyone on this forum when it comes to the referee but I haven't seen that we've been hardly done by at all.
I think dimentia has caught up with the old bloke.

This sums up a big problem with our fans, they just tolerate, embrace and accept the shit we dish up.
 
So sheens complains about some ref's calls then when pressed on the matter doesn't wanna talk about it.... Is asked about the major 2 half reshuffle of nofo off and Wakeham on Douehi to 1... Doesnt wanna talk about it.
Reckons Bateman still doesn't know half our plays 😊 oh Bahahaha haha mirth & merriment... It's cold in England and hot here 🤔🤔

Blaming the refs is a losers game but that said, the refs have been good to us.
Game 1
Won the penalty count 9-3
Won the infringements / 6 again count 5-2
Game 2
Won the penalty count 10-4
Drew the infringements / 6 again count 3-3
Game 3
Drew the penalty count 7-7
Lost the infringements / 6 again count 1-2

Overall, we are leading the penalty counts versus our three opponents 26-14

Sheens is full of it blaming the refs. Obvious deflection that his side is playing aweful footy.
 
Thought the ref was fair today. No one got dudded. We just suck balls and are so far off the pace it ain't funny.

He treated the trials like a joke.
I was very angry at our approach. This is why.
Now our easy start has gone. If we are to win at all in the next couple of months, we will have to beat sides that are capable of playing far better football than us. That takes a lot out of a team that struggles for consistency.
 
I can't do the mental gymnastics nessisary to understand what Sheens was thinking against the Bulldogs, so I'm assuming he just screwed up.
In the presser he said taking Nofo off and reshuffling the backline was always part of the plan. Said AD had only trained on the captains run, has ligament damage and Wakeham had trained all weeks with Brooks.
Then WTF didn't he let Wakeham start and leave AD out.
The whole the switch was planned comment imo is him not wanting to admit he cost us a win.
I would be infinatly more confident if Sheens put his hand up and said I stuffed up, this is on me. At least then we would know there was accountability in the joint and secondly he recognises when something hasn't worked and is willing to make changes to fix it. We could then have hope that the season might not be completely over. I'm still confident we will push for a top 10 spot.
But far out these guys are hard to support. Iv no doubt Wakeham starts at 7 from game 1 we are 3 -0 now.
