Surely Weekes is a good chance of leaving and playing as a starting fullback somewhere in the NRL. Will be stuck behind Turbo for plenty of years to come if he stays at Manly.

Everyone bashes brooks he doesn't let every try in our defense is shit and has been for some time what what I've seen in the last game he set up one try and scored another it only three weeks in he not the only one that should cope the blame there another 16 guys in that team, I think we should start being more supportive rather than bagging them out every week

The game goes for 80 minutes plus not 10

When some clubs have 7-8 genuine stars and we have maybe 1-1.5 there’s an issue there.

Yep the genuine stars want to win. If there were more genuine stars (or if the gap between an average rep player to the average player was less) they would naturally diffuse throughout the clubs.

Or perhaps the most ruthless clubs would still rise to the top…not signing players on long term contracts just because they are juniors would be a start.

I do like the recent recruitment/retention trend from the tigers. Moving ken on is very positive.
