"He's a much better runner than he is a organiser" Thanks Sheens its not like Wests Tigers fans haven't known that Luke Brooks hasn't been able to organise a side after watching him for the last 10 years. Effectively threw away the first 3 games of the season because of his stubbornness to play him at 7...

He is still playing 7 champ.

He did also concede that Adam has been playing as the organiser of the team. And currently he feels there’s a better opportunity to play Adam in the backfield.

I think it will come together.
Sheens had a couple of things not going his way, which got us off to a slow start.
He was distracted by having to coach Benji.
He didn’t have the right focus on the 2 trial games, partially due to Pascoe’s influence.
He didn’t have his full squad to train.
The team is now showing signs of needing to win, not just wanting to win. Excluding a small number of, either recalcitrants or dummies that is.
Sheens is starting with the first lot, then the dummies will follow them.

I don't know why he doesn't just give Brooks the 6 jersey but this has been obvious for a while. Like all this season and all last season at a minimum.

Let’s be real for a second, what choice did he have for round 1?

Sheens had little choice but to go all in on a Laurie, AD and Brooks setup for round 1.

Will Smith isn’t a halfback & is busted on and off already.

Wakeham came what 3-4 weeks before kickoff and wasn’t a NRL halfback before. No NRL coach would’ve chucked him into the deep end straight away in that situation.

It’s clear Sheens knows Brooks isn’t a halfback given he put in an above market offer in for Moses.

I also think it’s clear Sheens doesn’t view AD as a 5/8th or Laurie as a fullback.

so why would he get rid of the only halfback he had ?

I thought Sheens confirmed that Wakeham would effectively be playing 7 tomorrow night with Brooks playing 6
