Damn, thought we had himSuaali going to Union
We do. How about we try him there before cutting him loose…Gus has continually said they are not interested in Laurie, also said Laurie's best position is 5/8th, Gus is such a liar who likes to portray himself as the victim, in saying that, I hope it's true, we need a clean out, but the Dogs don't need a 6 though
I would for sure. It's alright mate, Easts will end up signing Walsh for 300k below his value as 'he had dreams of playing for Easts' (who dreams of playing for that shithole).
I'm a Westy mate so my hate for them is strongI would for sure.
Living in the best parts of Sydney due to under the table payments….invitations to the best parties…invitations to the best women…and you are in a team who consistently pushes for the title.
Thanks for that infoHouston got released back to Union and Roumanos has been playing for Western Suburbs.
I would be more than happy to see Wakeham 7, Laurie 6, we need to try something different because what we are doing hasn't worked in the last 10 yearsWe do. How about we try him there before cutting him loose…
The club doesn't appear to be in a rush to re-sign him at this stage. But is it me or does Daine look slower than last year ?Our former stats man, Curtis Woodward, (now employed by the Bulldogs) reports via Twitter:
Daine Laurie headed to Belmore? Hearing the off-contract Wests Tigers fullback and his manager just met with Gus over a drink at The Locker Room Bar at Olympic Park.
its been debunked he was already in melbourne at the time they said this meeting wasOur former stats man, Curtis Woodward, (now employed by the Bulldogs) reports via Twitter:

Bugger, I thought Houston might have gone alright, doesn't seem like he was given much of a chance.Houston got released back to Union and Roumanos has been playing for Western Suburbs.
Think it was Brimson who easily outsprinted him in round 1 which quite surprised meThe club doesn't appear to be in a rush to re-sign him at this stage. But is it me or does Daine look slower than last year ?
People criticising POM like they have better mail.
There is honestly no incentive or reason to post inside mail on here if you have it. None. Even if your mail is right 90% of the time, you will get scolded for the other 10% where the club has been mislead by media/management or something has changed. Better to keep it to yourself, not worth it.
Be appreciative for what is/can be given.
It is interesting that most complain about the leaking of information by the club, but then also complaints that there is no credible information being shared. You can't have it both ways. Either you want nothing getting out or you want information.
Brimson would be classified as a fast player. We don't have anyone in that bracket other than Staines. And if Staines is stuck on a wing and a break is on the flank then he's of limited value, hence why Staines is EASILY our best overall option for fullback at the moment.Think it was Brimson who easily outsprinted him in end 1 which surprised me..he aint no Reece Walsh, that's for sure..so am wondering what difference he can make?
Maybe people who've only been on the forum for less than 18 months should just shut the #$%^ up and have some respect to others.I think readers are just frustrated. He is wrong a lot of the time so I think you would have to be incredibly naive or desperate to take his word as the gospel. Anyone who thought or stated Moses was on the verge of coming knows nothing and should never be listened to again, that was the litmus test.
Staines has a shot at catching the high ball..and has speedBrimson would be classified as a fast player. We don't have anyone in that bracket other than Staines. Wakeham has always had good runs of form in him at NRL level. The problem is after a few matches his form has previously fallen off a cliff. Extremely erratic, a couple of strong games followed up with numerous absolute shockers. But given what Brooks and Doueihi have provided thus far he's not different, so is suddenly in with a chance of regular first grade.Weekes looks the goods doesn't he.
Haven't seen the others.
Can't believe the ground Wakeham has made so far this year, next two weeks are huge for him. If he can play well he may just propell himself into long term plans. From where he started 2023, certainly in my eyes anyway, it will be the Steven Bradbury story of the NRL.
Is it because he's not up to it, or more because he's still a bit raw and developing his consistency?Wakeham has always had good runs of form in him at NRL level. That was for Round 1, and the first couple of weeks of the NRL season.Don't forget Jason Taylor also had Jordan Rankin rated ahead of him. I'd have left if I was that underappreciated too. Rankin is one of the worst NRL players of all time
