I think you are correct and the "Reign of Stupidity" will continue.The only enjoyable part for me will be the reaction on here when it is announced.

I think you'll see Brooks in the 7 with Doueihi at 6. Laurie on the wing might happen tho. Simpkin and Matamua will retain their spots on the bench. I'd be dropping Twal after his efforts in attack and bringing back Joffa.

Really tough on whoever misses out between Kepoa and Blore but want Matamua in there. Number 13 and future captain for years to come IMO.

Twal doesn't deserve to be picked.... he's been a myth lately

Both Blore and Kepoa deserve a spot over him for sure
 
doesnt matter who gets picked, this team isn't coached, no players in motion in attack it's all pedestrian and predictable, no one else in the comp attacks like us in the opposition 20, for once I blame the coaching more than the players
 
Probably right, but a couple of the things Sheens said just makes me think Brooks ends up on the bench

Klemmer passed better than our current halves and Bateman runs better. You could be onto a winner if they can execute a kick at least once a game.
 
I'd say Talau will be back this week, AJ probably moves back to the bench and Joffa might snag a spot in place of Twal. Staines goes to Fullback, Doueihi takes Wakehams spot and we go 0-6. Woohoo!

I like that line up, Brooks to the bench possibly as a hooker option. Let Wakeham run the show and one last chance for Doueihi in the halves.

Never added a comment to this forum having been a member for a couple of years. I am in my late 70s, a Balmain tragic from way back. Both Balmain and Wests hav been through these terrible times for fans before. The only way forward in my opinion is select a side and give it 5 rounds to gel. We need a new approach.

I can't find a place for Brooks. He needs to have 5 weeks in Cup to build his confidence. You have 5 weeks guys.

I like your thinking! Great first post!!

I would just replace Rua on the bench with AJ for backrow & centres cover with Laurie to provide hooker relief (much like young Weekes does at Manly). I think Rua needs some consistent string of games in NSW Cup to build his tank and then he can be tried in the 2nd half of the season. That's my 10c.
