I've laid it out before ink, I went to several meetings with the Tigers between 2020-2021 to talk about fan engagement. I have met Pascoe in that capacity, a couple of times. There were several of us there; most of the other guys have gone over to the podcast forum and of course Geoff died recently.

I met Adam Hartigan back then too, but mostly we just dealt with the membership and media people. I don't think I've spoken to Pascoe since 2021 and I've never spoken to him outside of that Ambush group.

I must have said 20 times I don't care if Pascoe gets the chop. I can understand why he is easy to dislike; he's got that manner about him. But having met him, I can also tell you he's also no fool. I have the impression that he's actually quite good at his corporate gig, i.e. bringing in money and getting things done. You don't have to like him to understand that he seems to keep the coffers full.

But I do understand that we haven't changed CEOs for some time and that might be a lever we can pull. I just want to be sure that the new CEO can keep the funding coming in, and recognise that the CEO role at Tigers is now quite removed from any football operations.

It also seems to me, you can't offer a counter-argument or try to de-escalate some issues without being accused of being some kind of shill. It's almost a Trumpian reaction for anyone who doesn't join the pile-on. Well I won't do it; I truly think this jersey thing is a very minor issue, a PR blunder if anything. I don't think it helps the club at all to heap pressure on them at every opportunity. They'll never improve if they get belted with a giant stick any time they step out of line.

Don’t want to get caught up in your argument but I call bs on that statement
I’ve played for many years (country footy)and the crowd/supporters have minimal input imo
It all comes down to attitude and motivation
Something that is really lacking atm

I think it's more about mistake after mistake after mistake with this club. In all departments.

Yeah... The players shouldn't have had to front the media today... The club would've known what their angle would be... Very very weak leadership

Fox saying they contacted the ADF who say they weren't consulted by WTsabout the jersey 😒

A minor stuff up in my books, but just another stuff up where attention to detail is lacking. Emblematic of the club’s culture, where low standards are acceptable and now I’d even say expected. They like to call things unacceptable but in reality, they accept just about anything. A bloke can laugh at the club in public and they made him captain FFS.

Disgraceful from the media whores Justin and Lee who can always find a microphone when they want!

Misrepresenting the ADF and Holsworthy Barracks is more serious than just weak leadership - these blokes couldn't lie straight and NEVER own their mistakes!

I hope the ADF makes an officlal complaint!!

They clearly knew about the issue - or they would not have re-branded the annual ANZAC jersey to "Commemorative"!...

This has to be the last straw for the imposter CEO!
 
Our fuhrer rocks up at Suncorp wearing a small boys sized polo for a warmup run, then lobs into the dressing room at halftime to play Candy Crush. However, when he should show-up and face the media, after another fiasco, our conveniently faceless CEO wheels the players out to do his job. Someone needs to read their job description.
