I have had multiple people message me today, including a die hard Norths fan in his 60s, all saying "your club is a disgrace".

The fact it has now come out that the club did NOT consult the ADF...bought the dirt cheap generic stock photo themselves....and felt we, as fans, were such muppets that a bit of PR spin would fix things...is a farce.

Pascoe has to go. Debate it all you like...but one thing is not debatable, and that is that he is absolutely toxic. It has gone too far to turn that perception around, he is absolutely toxic.

If he stays, we may well fold in a few years. If he has even the tiniest amount of care for the club, he will walk.

The way the club treated Benji and Rob under blow-in coaches destroyed any of the club loyalty that the 2005 squad had developed and passed on to the juniors and new recruits coming through.

Players like Taupau - Matterson - Aloiai just flicking us while under contract is divine Karma!

This shit needs to be re-built from the ground up - because when Balmain football club members (like me) voted for this joint-venture with Western Suburbs - the constitution of the yet to be named Wests Tigers club would ensure both Balmain and Western Suburbs football club members (of more than 5 years) voting rights on the combined Board.

Balmain's insolvency due to the Leagues Club debacle led to a complete obliteration of the original constitution and its intentions - and we find ourselves with a Bryden/Wests Ashfield oligarchy who have zero expertise and limited focus on our core business of rugby league.

With zero democratic mechanism remaining to remove any of the under-performing and incompetent mutts!!

Any of the Pascoe/Go/Haginpantellis apologists are welcome to prove to me that this has been good for the Wests Tigers club and has acheived any outcomes aside from providing the Board and CEO with total security to demonstrably fail without any stakeholder scrutiny?

Some one screwed up - unintentional, didn't do their research properly - and we live in a society where offending people has become a past time.
It needed to be addressed the club is doing that and still in time to wear a jersey that pays the respect that was intended.

It's not the mistake thats the issue. It's the club trying to cover it up that's the problem. Be honest and be accountable. Instead they look like amateurs.

Well that's entirely different if it's true. I'm a skeptic about Fox, we'll have to see if it's corroborated, because Paul Kent and basically everyone on that show are also liars.

I don't care if they use some generic photo on the jersey, that's not a crime. To lie about the Holsworthy Barracks or ADF involvement, if true, is far far worse. Mistakes and lies are on two entirely different levels.

They got confirmation from the ADF who have a central media/PR liaison in Canberra who can approve use of images - and just because it was only verbally relayed via NRL360 you doubt it?

Australia has the strictest defamation laws in the world and this was cleared by Foxsport's internal legal review before being broadcast.
