Brooks is tanking

That is stupid. We got the spoon last year and we are dead last this year. We make meaningful changes all the time. We've had a roster overhaul and the coaching staff sacked our halfback and sent him to Newcastle because he wasn't any good.
Those aren't the changes that needed to be made, we've been bog average for years with multiple teams with multiple coaches, the one consistent are the boardroom. Particularly the factions. As in Wests, One Balmain and the independent board members. At some point given enough failure I would like to think that one exec at the Holman Barnes group would be starting to think that maybe they've been peeing their money up a wall supporting the Tigers with the current structure and it needs a change to see any long term onfield success. The change that needs to happen is we need Wests Tigers board members. Not the factioned morons we have running the joint now, who only hire people to cover their own rear ends.

Has anyone watched Sheens coaching insider. He basically stated Brooks has been pretty good and the problem is everyone expects him to score or set up 5 tries a game or something.

I don't totally agree. I think in a couple of key situations this season Brooks has come up with terrible options or poorly executed options. I think he has had this problem his whole career. He really struggles executing in the attacking zone.

In stating that I think Brooks has been far and away our best half this season and apart from those key moments he has been decent. He deserves his spot and I hope he has another good game today. I'd love to see him ice some critical moments as well.
No one expects Brooks or any of our players to score 5 tries in one game, but what the fans want him to do is play good footy. He should be leading the team around and take control, telling and directing the forwards where he wants them or wants them to do. Set up plays and help contribute to the team being a threat which he has not done all year.

Brooks has not played good footy at all this year and I highly doubt today makes any difference. I get you’re an optimist, but to say Brooks deserves his spot is something hardly anyone will agree with you on. The only reason he’s in the team still is because they never keep anyone around that can take his spot. The one player that they did have they moved him on, and went back to having only a small amount of depth that will only play if necessary.

He drains all the energy out of the team from the first error. His decision making is so off no one around him trusts him and then the play becomes a rabble. Yet the coach backs him publically over all else - we deserve to be running last for that reason alone. It's a garbage message for the rest of the team.
It feels like they will re sign him if they havnt already which is absolutely mind boggling.

Yep, that s my worry too. Re-signing Brooks should not happen, he has done nothing to earn it- his game has not improved ad he keeps making the same errors year after year. Yet, the language from management / coach seems the continuance of excuses and acceptance. Its got me buggered trying to figure out why, and what his hold over the club is.

I hope Brooks has a good game today and try and get some of the media off the whole media would be driving the other players mad I would think , I don’t care what others say it would be a definite issue in the group , we need a win then the by round then back to it with another win , todays game will be won on aggression first up and then smart plays , kick for touch , kick along the ground , if there is a bomb put up we need to be there for it , fingers crossed we win just for the whoLe team not just a player

Just get rid of him, please.
Sheens has lost the plot if he thinks brooks is going ok.
If I was on 1.1 a year, I would be a combination of cleary, Reynolds and the tooth fairy. Unstoppable.

I'm not sure about this but I understand what you are stating. Something is clearly wrong. One of my mates is a mad Tigers supporter and every time I talk to him he goes off on Pascoe.

100 percent, not sure if Pasco is the problem or not, the problems have been around before him. It's the strangest thing. We get new players, new coaches, new board members, new facilities but things remain stale there is a massive issue at the club. I personally believe it's at board level, like the jumbos keep saying its all factional and about self preservation atm. Just feel if we had actual Wests Tigers board members as opposed to Wests, Balmain and independents, we would give the Tigers every chance at success as we would know where their loyalties lie as opposed to now where we have board members leaking things to the media on the condition they come out smelling like roses.
