Doueihi does ACL again

One week to late, probably had his best game in tigers colours both attack and more importantly defence.

I’d say the screw popped out the graph so not as painful as rupture but still same outcome/recovery but you can walk on it.

I did my ACL and came back after rehab and was very similar to what Doueihi did landing with no pressure on me, knee buckled which caused the graph to let go. Really unfortunate for him and wish him a speedy recovery.

I hope he makes a full recovery asap because having to undergo the whole operation/rehab again would be both mentally and physicaly difficult

Hopefully Laurie will come into 5/8th, Wakeham is terrible and Smith even worse. Unless we sign someone with our spare roster spot/trade a player.

I think you are right - Sheens is pretty pigheaded. Shame really because i think Laurie would go OK at 5/8 - he is not a FB yet we keep running him there in reggies as well.

Laurie was average in the first half but looked better in the second. With Books at 7, we need a creative 5/8 and Laurie is a better ball player than Wakeham or Smith.

Post match he made a comment that young Laurie did well in nsw cup. Didn’t call anyone else out. Be a shame think Laurie is probably our most skilled half in the club. He also has energy to cross the park and support which is something we need. Defending is a major concern but lets face it none of our halves make crunch tackles.
