I respectfully disagree.

I think Sheens will roll with Wakeham again...
Laurie unlikely to play again unless we're desperate.

We'll see Tuesday though.

he doesn't have to catch the bombs so that is a plus. As for defence in the front line he will go ok, not like AD was a great defender. What we will lose is that powerful running that AD brings, Laurie can try and hit the edges with some pace and see how we go.
Probably worth a shot.

yeah I'm not a Laurie fan think his attitude is terrible but geez wakeham doesn't do much, I think Sheens needs to roll the dice.
Tuesday will be interesting mate think either way we will be pushing crap up a hill to heat Manly

Laurie is an awful defender.
I can't see that being a successful pairing at all.

Our halves depth will be tested for the rest of the year... we've got Brooks and essentially another reserve grader in Wakeham.

Maybe Will Smith after round 10...
But yeah, looking troubling.

If Brooks or Wakes go down - we'll be in a lot of trouble.

surely the calls have gone out to one of your faves in Sezer, mate off contract next year surely we can land him.

Maybe Manly might suffer a letdown after what is traditionally a major, high profile game for them. Also they were very physical and quite often that manifests itself negatively in the teams following game.
So I’m gonna go with that theory and hope we come back ready to play.
PS Not sure that Laurie is top of mind for Tom at present.
 
Wakeham is the best we have,give the kid a go.him or Laurie just need time to settle,park Lucky Luke in reggies and have Wakeham n Laurie to see the year out,honestly could it get any worse ,no reply from you thanx Bags n

Like you're thinking mate, if you're a reserve grade half..... should be thinking here's a chance to back yourself and get a chance to shine in first grade.

What's the worse that'll happen?
Show case your skills in a struggling Tigers team and either;

1) Get a lengthy contract at the Tigers
2) Get noticed and get a good deal elsewhere

a couple of years ago the stat was teams that play Melbourne generally lose the following week, haven't gone through the stats for this year with Melbourne though

We should be trying to get a bloke like Toby Sexton or Jonah Pezet even if it is a loan
