Apisai Koroisau #263

I don't reckon he does. I reckon players like that love the challenge.
I have to agree.
Api, Bateman, Klemmer is what the doctor prescribed for us.
Even Staines runs his absolute best returning the ball.
I’m sure good things are just around the corner for us.
The effort players will either demand the team to lift or they will naturally be contagious to others.

They are professional first graders. Something tigers have lacked for a long time. Even though he’s still potential, I put staines in the same category.

Last year happy api - we'll win the GF with the tigers hahaha

This year unhappy api - we'll never win a GF with the tigers 😭

Api was courageous enough for stepping up and attempting to convert tupou's try from the sideline, was mind boggling though given Brooks has kicked for us many times before.

Api has never done something like that when he was at the Panthers.

It's the little things that signifies the importance of having Api in the squad.

I’m still trying to wrap my head around that decision.
Why didn’t Brooks step up, was it coz it was the opposite side for a lefty and he feared failure ? But API, come on.
I know it’s an old chestnut of mine but goal kicking is important and I don’t think it gets enough attention at the Tigers.

He mentioned at training he has been the back up kicker and nailing them at training but agree would of went with brooks

Brooks should’ve stepped up and taken that shot but he’s a pea heart.

I reckon it was to take the heat off him. If he missed the goal - highly likely difficult kick- it was the difference between taking it to extra time and losing the press would have made the story all about Brooks missing the goal, fans would have jumped on board, and on and on it goes. As it turned out Staines error and Eels try sealed the game anyway.

I think it was just that Api was meant to be the back-up kicker but after he kicked it was obvious the heartbreaker was a better option. When he got his chance he nailed it. Just like he created all the tries we scored excluding the dropped ball from Parra.

Api is the guest on 9 footy show for
anyone thats interested in watching
Imagine it will his usual carefully scripted replies. Not much more to say at present, and if he slips up everyone all over it.
I think a media ban for us not out of order until we get some runs on the board.
Also, is it just me or has AD disappeared, no updates etc.
