Not entirely sure what that means, given we attracted Tommy T in the first place, as a Bulldogs junior.

If they dont have an offer from WTs ,our guys coming off contract like Talau can be expected to look elsewhere
Staines/Laurie/Wakeham and Brooks all have managers working hard to secure their future outside WTs..and unlikely to be here next year
Sure hope Sheens has a contingency plan that doesnt include Brooks as a default resigning,cause were gonna be very skinny in NRL backs next year
And WTs losing our appeal to quality backs ..in fact all players..on a monthly basis aint gonna make it easy to replace them
Thank goodness we have Shenius and player magnet Benji running the show.
I can relax in that knowledge

Manly made an original attempt to get Talau before the June 30 deadline on an immediate deal.
Tigers rejected it
There was no formal offer from the tigers to match/beat
Looks like the door had a pretty enticing offer

I remember in the past he had a large lower grade fan club as well.
You know what I mean “ future star”, “ could be anything “, “ needs to be in first grade”.
I will say he could score a try but never sure if that was him or the people around him.
It will be interesting to see what happens at the Tails. I think Harper would be a bit nervous !

Plenty of upside going to Manly. Experienced coaching team, some great talent and a club that just seems to be able to dig itself out of any perceived dramas, steady the ship and remain always around the top 8. Not a bad part of the world to be playing footy at either.
